The mens chain is plated with 14K gold, offering a brighter, more reflective finish compared to 18K gold; the clasp features a push-button closure, allowing you to put it on with just one hand. The mens necklace features a 5-layer plating process, which is the maximum number of layers achievable through machine plating. Wow! As soon as I picked this package up from my doorstep, I was amazed at the weight! This chain is seriously heavy. Not in a bad way though. It just feels much nicer than what I was expecting for the price. I put it on my postal scale and it weighs 6.6 ounces or 187 grams. The 14k plating looks amazing! The clasp is easy to open and close. I absolutely love this necklace. It's a lot of bling for an old guy like me, but I love it anyway. There were a few choices available as far as link size and chain length. I got the 24 inch chain with 12mm wide links for that hip hop look. But, it is also available in smaller sizes, that would be a good fit for women too. At the time of writing this review, the price is $25 and I think it is worth every penny! Seriously, this thing looks like it should cost way more! If you happen to be into nice looking bling that doesn't break the bank, you should really consider this men's necklace. As far as men's jewelry goes, this is one of the best values I have ever seen. I did a little research and found that gold plating on stainless steel is much more durable than plating on cheaper metals. Plus, this company is using plating that is five times thicker than what you normally see on inexpensive plated jewelry. Again, I really think this is an awesome value. This thing is was created with 1 word in mind: Bold. The pictures are accurate to what it looks like, but you won't really get a feel for it, until you feel it. This thing is heavy (as compared to other chains,) which is good for it feeling robust and expensive, but maybe not the kind of thing to wear casually to work or during strenuous activities. The chain clasp is something I have never seen before, working more like a seat belt buckle, rather than a chain clasp, which is incredibly novel, but also incredibly secure and does not feel like it will be breaking by accident or any time soon. I personally did not expect the chain to be this big and hefty, but have been thinking of repurposing as a bracelet, wrapping it a couple times around my arm. Either way I do think its very impressive, and as long as you know you're getting a big, hefty, bold chain, I think you will be pretty satisfied. It is made of 14K gold plated stainless steel with Cuban links and a buckle clasp. The clasp is easy to put on by yourself.
