  • Great pipe band sticks
Style: ActiveGrip
I play with a pipe band That competes and performs regularly throughout the year. These sticks are ones that I first got acquainted with when I was in Scotland at the pipe band competition. I bought two pair there and I’ve bought two pair off of Amazon and they’re fantastic. Other drummer that I meet end up buying these same sticks. ... show more

  • Very light sticks
Style: ActiveGrip
Very light sticks. The 'active grip' works in outside situations. When playing indoors, the grip is the same as any other stick.

  • Good sticks but a bit pricey?
Style: Painted White
I like them but they seem to be a bit more expensive than other brands, like the Andante sticks I usually use. They are a bit on the bigger side, so I like to warm up with them. The color looks good though, and the tone from the tip is good.

  • Inconsistent
Style: ActiveGrip
Overall nice sticks. I like the active grip and the general shape. My issue is with weight. The pair is not matched for weight and sound. Makes them useless for performances. I'm hesitant to order more if it's a common issue

  • Great Pipe Band Sticks
Style: ActiveGrip
A great stick, nice balance and weight, very bright off the head. Active grip works well.

  • Do not recommend

Lighter than expected. Cracked the first time used. Do not recommend

  • Item marked up on arrival
Style: Painted White
I expected more from ProMark sticks, honestly. I’m sure they play fine, but I was disappointed when they arrived with obvious defect.

  • Inconsistent weight & pitch
Style: ActiveGrip
I bought two pairs of sticks and one was fantastic but the second pair was not balanced at all and probably half the weight of the first pair. That’s a bummer because I bought two pair but I can only really use one pair for performances. Very inconsistent weight & pitch for sure.
