    • Starter switch was broken
The saw shipped quickly but arrived damaged. The housing for the motor was damaged. The starter switch had to be replaced as it stopped working. That's a lot of money to pay for a non working product.

    • Broke after a few uses
The on/off switch died after using it about 5 times. Was quirky the first time I turned it on then it went completely. I called and after emailing my Amazon receipt a new switch was sent out, but according to the tracking number it was delivered to somewhere in Chicago, and I'm in PA. Emailed about that and have yet to get a response. I had a spare switch, so I repaired it, not so easy to do. It's behind a plastic box under the main body of the saw with a screw you can't get to unless you take the whole saw apart. So all in all, I wouldn't recommend it. ... show more

Broken toggle switch right out the box. Top portion of band saw made of cast iron need a strong back to lift this along with strong family members to help!
