I have been ordering these caffeine pills since 2013. I have ordered an average of 9 bottles per year for myself and friends/significant other who always ask for caffeine. These pills used to be great as they were not coated and were easy to crack in half or into thirds/fourths when you did not want a ton of caffeine. In early December 2019 I ordered a new bottle and discovered the pills looked completely different. They were fat and tall instead of flat and had a shiny coating on them. This makes them nearly impossible to break. Further, they are scored in a + pattern, so if you try to cut them you cannot cut them into thirds. Most concerning was that the bottle I received was missing 40 pills. I reached out to the manufacturer and supplier and was told that they changed the formula and they track quality control so theres no way they could be shipping bottles missing pills. They suggested someone stole pills from me. I have no idea how this would be possible since the bottle arrived sealed in the box from Amazon. Very concerning and upsetting. I will likely have to find a new brand of caffeine tablets.

I have been taking these for a while and have read the reviews about inconsistencies. I have been suspect that the caffeine isn’t the same in all the pills. Biggest thing is if I don’t take one for a while I don’t get a headache like I have with other caffeine. Today I opened my newest bottle and the pills looked different than every other bottle that I have ordered. I took them out to inspect them and noticed it was missing several pills. 37 to be exact! Seeing that the pills looked different and the count was so wrong really made me concerned about quality control for this product. They do let me return this order which is appreciated but I’m looking elsewhere for an energy boost.

I have enjoyed these caffeine pills for a number of years. 200MG is too much for me all at once, so I have gotten in the habit of halving or sometimes even quartering the tablets to better regulate how much I intake. When I got my most recent bottle, I found that they changed the formulation ("other ingredients" are different; no big deal, seems to work as well as before), but they also changed the format of the tablet. See attached photo for comparison. The new tablet is stamped "Pro Labs" (a good thing! better than to have plain, unlabeled tablets), and the reverse side is scored for the tablet to be halved/quartered. Unfortunately, in making this change, they also made the tablet much thicker. Despite the scoring lines, you will not be able to divide the new tablet by hand. Wish they would return to the thinner format, so that a knife/pill cutter would not be necessary. It is inconvenient. UPDATE: After a little more time taking these, it is very obvious to me that this new formulation does not have the same degree of efficacy. I now take an entire pill and I don't think it has near the kick as the old formulation. Weird. I may have to look into a different brand as a replacement.

I have been using this product for years. Great product and always recommend people switch to caffeine pills. I was shocked to open the bottle to see the newly designed pill. The pills now all have a + on it. My initial thoughts were sweet, this is gonna be even easier to split up. It is no longer possible to split these with your fingers. I will not be buying this product again. I look try to take only 100mg of caffeine at a time, and will fall back to taking the other half if I am still tired. This basically ruins that for me I plan to update this after I get some time to try the new formula. After reviewing the other reviews, I have low expectations at this time I am shocked that this change didn't prompt for a brand new Amazon page. This feels like product fraud

Quit coffee because of heart burn. I do miss coffee, especially in the winter. With these I don't get the crash that I did with coffee. You take one in the morning and you're just awake. Not bouncing off the walls, just awake. When I first started taking these I did notice that I would get a little jittery if i didn't eat anything. I've been taking these for about 2 years now. Both in the morning and as a pre workout because those real pre workout powders give me crazy heartburn to the point of nausea.

For years, I used to drink 2 large cups of coffee every morning and then more throughout the day. Coffee tastes and smells great, sure, but it was really just the caffeine I wanted. In that case, a little over 2 years ago, I switched to these caffeine pills. I'd say that each pill is about a strong cup of coffee and taking 2 in the morning as soon as I wake up is comparable to my old coffee habit. Also, the experience of taking caffeine pills daily is much different than coffee. First off, the transition from pills to coffee was somewhat rough on my stomach at first. Second, the onset of caffeine pills feels different than coffee. Coffee is far more of a sudden hit, while the caffeine pills have a slower onset. On an empty stomach, the caffeine pills hit in 1-2 min. And third, you need to be careful with how many pills you take. 2 pills might be awesome, but 3 pills might push you into jittery-caffeine limbo. It's hard to accidentally drink an extra cup of coffee if you really don't want it, but it's easy to take an extra pill. I suggest starting with a low dose, perhaps 1 pill or 1/2 pill in order to feel how it affects you. The pills are pretty easy to break in half. Overall, if you figure out how to use these effectively and responsibly, these pills are an excellent daily substitute for coffee.

Based on my experience, this seems like a fake. Using these, I do not get the same caffeinated experience I feel after taking other, more reliable caffeine pills, an equivalent cup of coffee, a five-hour energy, or a pre-workout supplement. Maybe I got a bad batch, maybe the reviewers who really "feel it" are feeling a placebo effect.
