this worked well while they worked, however they didnt stay lit very long per hit. now they are sitting on the shelf because the batteries are expensive and they need 6 watch type to replace the originals which only lasted about 3 weeks.

Though I purchased this product for me, it survived a room full of 3-year olds banging, wacking and drumming. It’s durable and fully able to entertain. I wish that they hadn’t come already “activated,” but I don’t regret my purchase in any way!!

If you play black metal, death metal, or any other extreme metal these things just fall apart. I reviewed them before actually trying to them and gave them 5 stars because they worked, but the minute I start doing blast beats the battery covers flew off and the batteries went everywhere...

On the first set of sticks only one lit up when tapped. I returned them for a replacement, which I received today, and only one lights up again. So I opened the package and the battery compartment of the one not working. The batteries are very corroded! I'm sending these back because I'm not going to buy batteries for something that is new.
