I had concerns with these possibly being knock offs or returns. I contacted Zwilling and they had me submit pictures of the box and knives. They authenticated them as being real Zwilling Professional S knives and they said I can register them for the Zwilling warranty. They were professionally packaged in an original Zwilling sealed box. Some of the negative reviews I read, I did not experience . My knifes arrived in original packaging and not damaged. I also read they are not the same quality of knifes from twenty years ago. Well I compared them to my original set purchased at a national department store for much more money 30 years ago. The weight, thickness, handle material and edge are identical.
