I love the rose gold on this and you can adjust the temperature. The infrared is good for your hair and scalp so I think everyone should hop on this! It straightened my wavy frizzy hair in 1-2 passes.

    • Nice hair straightener
Clean looking and lightweight. I like that it has a wide area for the hair and temperature control for thinner hair. However, closing and opening makes a squeaking noise. Because it does have a larger capacity for ironing the hair, it can be a bit bulky for traveling.

This is a nicely designed hair straightener. It heats up quickly and the buttons are on the inside so you're not constantly bumping them. I got annoyed though because it doesn't recognize the last temp. So before every use, you have to adjust it to the temp you need. It only goes to up to 450 degrees which I found was too low for my coarse hair. It would straighten my hair temporarily and it didn't take the volume out like some straighteners. But it didn't stay straight all day. I'd have to go back throughout the day to restraighten. I really like the large paddles. It makes it easy to straighten fast. ... show more

Cool looking flat iron. Works like a charm. Heats up fast and straightens and curls my wigs to perfection. Also can be used on natural hair. Easy to hold and operate.

    • Good for straightening but not curling
First of all, I have chin length hair so I do more smoothing than actual straightening but I do like to have my ends slightly turned under. I don’t typically have a problem doing that with other flat irons but for some reason, I can’t get the rounded ends. It actually leaves them very blunt. I expected this “Straightener and Curler” to be spot-on with that feature but I was disappointed. As far as just smoothing/ straightening, it does a fine job. It heats up quickly and glides through my hair easily. I wish it had a feature to remember my preferred temperature though. I’m not sure about the infrared technology. I’ve never had one with infrared and I couldn’t tell any difference with it. Maybe it’s one of those things that you never notice; it’s just more preventative?? The product is really pretty and looks very sheik and high-end. I just wouldn’t recommend it if you planned to use it for any kind of curling. It actually comes with a user manual with 8 steps (including pictures) for straightening hair but nothing is mentioned on how to curl (or in my case, get rounded ends). ... show more
