I bought this a few days ago because I was looking for a carrier that didn't look like a plastic cage. This, indeed, is about what I expected. As depicted, there are lots of zipper openings that can be used to let the animal get in different ways or poke their heads out of. Maybe too many, even. Also pockets for small items like a bag of treats or something. One issue I have with this is that there is no structure save for the slip in bed. This carrier really needs a sewn-in plastic base and either fold-up or removable stiffeners for the sides so the bag doesn't try to collapse on on itself, especially if the bed slips out of position. Do that, and this is an excellent product, provided it can withstand your pet's claws. ... show more

My new kitten feels very secure when in this carrier at night. In fact, when we head to bed, he goes into this carrier willingly. It is also security for me, because I know he is there beside my bed and that he is ok. It is also great to take him to the vet, or to protect him as he meets the dogs in the family. I haven't used the carrier on my trip yet. First impressions are pretty good. It is a little smaller than I'd like for my 15lb long-limbed pomeranian, but it just barely meets the airlines size restrictions for carry-ons. I went with this one because it offered the most optimal dimensions. The structure seems nice and sturdy as well. I imagine our 1.5 hour flight will be no problem with this carrier. ... show more

I was looking for another carrier for my cat and I thought that this carrier would fit him, considering how the layout was. I was wrong, way wrong, he barely fit to begin with and was super stuffed inside. Could be because he’s a very large cat and is also 13lbs. May be fit for smaller cats or kittens.
