Perfect case for my lite! I was looking for something thin but durable to pop into my bag. The library of games I own are all digital so I didn't need anything with slots to organize and store the tiny cartridges. My main concern was the joy sticks being damaged but the front flip is stiff enough that the sticks won't be pressed up against the case. It does not clip on as tight as I would like but if you adjust it you can get the plastic latch to hook on so the flap won't open once you turn it upside down. Way worth your money especially with the two glass screen protectors you receive and it includes a small kit with stickers, alcohol wipe and a piece of soft cloth to help remove dust and dirt. Without the front flap part it's still a great case to use at home and protect it from scratches and falls.

Fits well and adds a bit more grip when holding. Only issue is the magnet is a bit too weak and the cover easily comes detached. I can see my son eventually losing it due to this.

This case is great. It’s exactly what we were looking for. Do wish there was the option to leave the cover attached but overall I would recommend it. It’s also nice that it comes with a thick screen protector. We didn’t have to make a separate purchase for one.

Please note that my 5 star rating was based on the reviews I read for this case so I was already aware of what I was getting. I wanted a simple close-lid case/clamshell and not a carrying case. I wanted a case I can close and throw in my backpack. This was perfect for that! (1) The matching color is seamless! I love that! This was the only reason I did not buy Nintendo’s gray clamshell case. (2) It fits like a glove. Nicely snug! (3) Nintendo’s gray clamshell is fabric-y. This is plastic. Even the front that appears to be fabric. It’s just texture. But it works! It does not hinder the grip on this case. (4) The Switch Lite is so slippery. This case helps with that. The “handle” grips on the back give you a stable hold. The grips are textured, too, to help keep it securely in your hands. (5) Other reviews talked about how weak the magnet is that attaches the front to the back. Please note this is absolutely true. THE MAGNET IS EXTREMELY WEAK, ALMOST NON-WORKING. I already knew this from previous reviews but I figured I could use some E6000 to glue it into place. It’s so weak that almost any movement knocks it off the entire case. However! I think I like the fact that it comes off. When you open it, it’ll almost always come off. But if you hold it with your hands and keep it folded back, it’s a very awkward hold. I think I like that it comes completely off during play. When it’s closed shut, it stays on. (6) The closing tab is also something I was aware about from the previous reviews. It barely holds on. Sometimes I’m surprised when it kind of sticks. Please do not count on a secure close with this tab. It does not hinder the close of the front flap. It closes. I can confidently throw it in my backpack and know it’s not going to open. (7) The screen protector is easy to put on and fits exactly. I’m happy with that protection. Will I buy this again knowing what I know? Yes, I would! Will I recommend it? Yes, as long as people know the bad and can make that decision for themselves.

Great case for Nintendo Switch Lite. But the magnet cover is very weak. The cover does not clip on properly either so it is almost useless at doing its job. It’s good that I only bought this to protect the body of the switch.
