They are a little too long to keep the chest harness over his sternum for safest placement. Plus, he overheats easily, so they keep him quite warm. Not so good in the desert. But they do protect his neck from the straps rubbing him.

I like the straps cause they’re soft and not too thick. They are kind of long so the straps are hard to adjust to make it fit properly, that’s why I didn’t give it a 5 star. I was finally able to adjust it after I noticed it the picture.
