For the price, this stereo offers an impressive amount of audio adjustment. The 32-band EQ, crossover controls, time alignment, and loudness settings give you considerably more control than the basic bass and treble adjustments found on many inexpensive double-DIN radios. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto are convenient for navigation, music, and calls, and the 7-inch IPS screen is a good size without taking over the dashboard. The touchscreen is responsive and the 1024 x 600 resolution looks good for normal automotive use. The included backup camera adds value, especially if you are installing this in an older vehicle that never had one. Bluetooth, USB, AUX, RCA connections, and steering-wheel-control support also give you plenty of options when building a complete system. I would not put too much emphasis on the advertised 240-watt peak output. Like most head units, actual continuous speaker power will be considerably lower. The real advantage here is the DSP and preamp control, especially if you eventually add an external amplifier or subwoofer. Installation will depend heavily on the vehicle. Even though the radio itself is standard double DIN, many vehicles will still require the correct dash kit, wiring harness, antenna adapter, or interface module. At around $89, and particularly at the coupon price, this offers a lot of features for the money. Overall, it is a strong budget choice for someone who wants wireless CarPlay/Android Auto along with much better sound adjustment than a typical inexpensive head unit.

Budget Stereo with Good Features, But Plan on Possibly Buying a Vehicle-Specific Install Kit
For around $70, this head unit packs in a lot of features for the money. It’s a huge upgrade over my older radio and has made my daily driving much more enjoyable. The wireless Apple CarPlay works well, and one of my favorite features is being able to answer phone calls and respond to text messages hands-free. I can also stream music from Pandora, Amazon Prime Music, Spotify, and the SiriusXM app without any issues. The sound quality is surprisingly decent for a budget unit, and there are plenty of audio adjustments if you like to fine-tune your music. Installation though, wasn’t as straightforward as I had hoped. The included mounting hardware is very generic, so whether it works depends on your vehicle. In my 2010 Toyota RAV4, it did not fit properly. The mounting brackets were too small to reach the factory mounting holes, and the included bezel (the trim frame around the radio) is too tall for the dash opening, so I wasn’t able to use it - which is evident if you look at my pic. The wiring was another issue. The supplied harness didn’t match Toyota’s factory connector. I could have purchased a vehicle-specific wiring harness and mounting kit, but considering how inexpensive this radio already is, I couldn’t justify spending nearly as much on installation parts. Instead, I cut off the factory connector and soldered the original vehicle wiring to the new harness. It wasn’t particularly difficult if you’re comfortable with soldering, but it’s definitely not something everyone will want to do. Another disappointment was the built-in microphone. During phone calls, people consistently told me I sounded muffled and that there was a lot of background noise. Fortunately, the radio includes a connection for an external microphone, and I would strongly recommend using one if you plan to make hands-free calls. I will need an adapter for mine, since what’s on this new radio is too small for my current setup. The included backup camera also presents a challenge in my particular vehicle. The camera bracket swivels and includes mounting holes, but because my RAV4 has an external spare tire mounted on the rear door, there really aren’t many good mounting locations. I even contacted the manufacturer for suggestions, and they recommended mounting it near the license plate. Unfortunately, that won’t work for my setup because the camera cable would remain exposed with nowhere to neatly route or hide it. Overall, I still think this is a good value considering everything it offers at this price point. Just be aware that the “universal” installation hardware may not fit every vehicle, and you may need to purchase vehicle-specific mounting and wiring kits to make installation easier. If you’re comfortable doing a little custom work, it’s a very capable budget stereo with features that make it feel like a much more expensive unit.

Very poor quality the screen is really slow with interacting to your touch and the screen quality is pretty low on some of the apps you open

Tons of audio controls and super smooth CarPlay!
I received this double din car stereo to install in my son's car and it is a massive upgrade! The 32-band DSP and Sunplus sound engine make a huge difference in audio clarity, giving him full control to tune the equalizer and bass just how he likes it. The wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connect right away without fussing with cables, and the backup camera image is super clear on the touchscreen. It completely modernized his drive and was straightforward to install!

Works as expected
This [Pro 32-Band DSP] 7" Double Din Car Stereo with Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, Sunplus 2900 Sound Engine, 240W Peak Hi-Fi Audio, 6.9 Inch HD Touchscreen, Bluetooth, Backup Camera, Vbass works as expected. It was easy to install, but I have installed lots of stereos in cars. It is great for old stereos that don't have Bluetooth, to make cell phones safer to use while driving.

Much better than the previous model.
This headunit is much better than the older model. The audio quality is noticibly better, and the volume output is pretty equal between output settings, like bluetooth, carplay and radio. The older model would be loud on the radio and quiet on carplay so when you disconnect the phone the radio would be way too loud. This one is much better in that regard.

Great Basic Stereo
I was actually surprised at how well this double din stereo worked. It is basic but if basic is all you need then this is for you. I replaced my non working factory stereo in my beater Honda Civic with this upgraded Dsp double din car stereo. The good news: It has wireless apple carplay/android auto, I use it with wireless apple carplay and it’s works flawlessly so far. Bluetooth works great as well. The stereo itself is very light weight and was very easy to install. You can mirror your phone if you need that but I just needed the basics, apple car play for maps, music and a backup camera. For a basic stereo the equalizer is actually pretty decent. You can adjust 32 bands which is nice for dialing in your sound system if you care to do so. It pushes 60watts max per channel which is good enough to replace your factory stereo and it still sounds decent. The bad news: The stereo arrived a little damaged. The screen cover was broken on the side where the screws attach it and the screen was popping out on one corner but I think this happened in shipping and I was able to pop it back into place and get it screwed back down so it wasn’t that big of a deal for me. You can not add/download apps to this stereo unless I just haven’t figured it out yet but again this is not a big deal to me because like I said before I only needed CarPlay, music and backup camera. You can use the sd card or usb slot to watch movies if that’s your thing. It lags just slightly but not enough to be annoying. Sometimes basic is better and if that’s what you need then this is a good budget buy for the price.
