  • I recommed to hunters
Style: Tracking Light
realy helpful to find a game after shot.

  • Worth the price
Style: Tracking Light
Used it all season and had quite the array of scenarios when it came to tracking deer. In grass and leaves it makes it a bit easier. Where this really shines is when trailing in pine needles. Made quite the difference.

  • Works great and bright light reflects blood easily.
Style: Tracking Light
Although I didn’t have to use it, I tested it and it worked better than other brands. I would suggest having this with you when you hunt just in case.

  • Works well but came with bad batteries
Style: Tracking Light
I have heard numerous good things about this light for blood tracking, so I decided to get when to use this bow season. I tested the light itself on some blood I keep around for training dogs and it worked very well, and I feel confident it will make life easier in a hunting situation should the need arise. The one complaint I have is that it uses batteries you wouldn't normally see and the ones that came with the device expired a year before I even bought it. This being said they did work but once I went to the store and was able to find the correct batteries the Bloodhunter uses you could tell a noticeable difference between the expired batteries it came with and the new ones. For the money you would at least hope that it came with good batteries. ... show more

  • Great for hunting
Style: Tracking Light
Solid light and has held up very well during several hunts. Tracks a blood trail very well and is very bright. Not sure how long they last but, I have not had to replace the batteries yet.

  • Absolutely worth the $$$
Style: Tracking Light
Bought it this season for our annual rutcation. Hit one a little further forward than I wanted in the afternoon. As it got dark this light absolutely dominated. It showed specks of blood I'd have never saw in the daylight. The track was approximately 360yds total. It's something you hope you won't ever need but is a tool you should have. Order extra batteries right away as they're not a standard size. You will not be disappointed. ... show more

  • Works great when it is working properly.
Style: Tracking Light
So the light doesn't necessarily make blood pop out, as it makes the color red in general pop out. Which also means shades of red and orange also pops out. Not a big deal really unless you come across weeds that have shades of red in it. If you're not paying close enough attention, you might immediately think it's blood on the weed instead of it just being the weed itself. I did have this happen to me, but luckily I noticed the weed had shades of red in it and I didn't go off in the wrong direction. It feels quite a bit heavier than any of my other lights, especially size for size, but considering how well reds pop-out, adding the weight to my bag is worth it if it helps me find my blood trail more easily. One thing about this light I am not liking though is how it seems to be quite sensitive to the batteries you place in it. I'm guessing if the batteries are down to a certain charge or there is something about the batteries this light doesn't like, then the light will randomly start blinking on and off. I happened to have 24 of these cr123 batteries on hand, all the same brand/manufacturer but different batches. Three different sets (4 batteries per set) of these batteries caused my light to blink off and on at random, and 2 sets of batteries did not. It worked perfectly fine. So perhaps there is something about this light that makes it sensitive to the batteries being installed? Which is extremely frustrating since the batteries were all new and not expired. I don't know what I will do if I have to buy 20 batteries in hopes of getting 1 set that actually works correctly in this light when this set of batteries finally dies. When this light begins to blink off and on, it is very FRUSTRATING to deal with, especially when you're in the middle of tracking and it's pitch dark outside. It really messes with your vision going from a bright light, to sudden darkness, then a bright light again, over and over again. When it starts doing this, I tend to just turn it off and go back to a regular flashlight instead, just to keep it from screwing with my eyes/vision. ... show more
