Performs as expected. I like the price point for the functionality. The fact that it uses cr123A rather than a rechargeable battery is a plus for me. It's easier to releoad batteries at the range than to recharge on the fly and I imagine that'd hold true for HD applications as well. Love the laser, it's very bright and can pick it up in daylight when my green/red dot optic may not be quite as visible. It's nice to have different levels of brightness and ambidextrous controls. Set up is easy. I've dropped this thing several times, still ticking. I don't get why people don't enjoy olight. I have another model that is fine though with propriety rechargeable battery charging I'm not a fan of. They both work fine. So far I've run my olights alongside streamlihht tlr-1 hls and I'd say they are comparable in most ways except they don't APPEAR as bright but offer brightness control & also give options for running a green laser + white light l, laser only or white light only. If I run into any issues, will report back ... show more

    • Good performer and good value but…
I really like this light. Bought it for my 19X. Great match. Super bright. Activation switch function is excellent and well thought out. Green laser is super bright and visible in daylight. QD lever is easily adjusted and works great. My only complaint is the mode selection switch. It is a small rotating tab that is located on the bottom of the light. It’s location makes it a little vulnerable to unintentional mode change in my opinion. Especially if you are removing or inserting in a holster. I was torn between giving 4 or 5 stars. I went with 5. At this time I’m not using this pistol in a holster so I’m simply speculating and I have not had an issue with it. I did consider using this on a rifle handguard. The way I use my rifles I can almost promise unintentional mode change. You might expect laser+light function and only get laser. Again, speculation. I have not experienced this. Other than that the pros far outweigh this one con. For the price it is very impressive. You would pay double for the Streamlight version which I use on a few rifles. If they made the Olight mode switch a little less exposed it would be perfect “For me”. Now if someone frequently changes modes and wants a switch that is easy to locate and easy to change modes, they might find this design perfect. Regardless it’s a great light and I recommend trying one and seeing what you think. ... show more

This laser/light combo is so much better than expected. Very high and bright lumens, a long-range light in combination with the laser makes it so useful. This light is easy to install, use and the laser is actually visible in daylight (faint, but visible). I was not expecting this product to be so good for the price point as other light/laser combos are quite a bit more expensive. I gave it a five-star rating for reasons of quality, ease of installation and overall performance as advertised. I am buying another one for these reasons. ... show more

Saw this in a video being utilized on a semi-auto airgun. Did some research and found this. Am very pleased with the product over-all. The green laser is very visible when used in conjunction with the super bright spot light. It is intense as far as the strobe function and, again, green laser very visible in strobe mode. Great price for such an amazing product. It was shipped quickly but, the small box the laser was in was placed inside a larger box without padding. I thought the light may have been damaged but it was not harmed. Green laser light easily visible during day light hours for up to about 60 feet. At night, laser visible up to approximately 1/2 mile (for my eyes - 70 yrs young) I would highly recommend this product for those utilizing airguns or for those who would prefer to mount on a pistol. I posted a question concerning adjusting the laser for proper point of impact and failed to unfold the included instructions fully to reveal this part of the paper manual. To add self insult to self injury I missed this section of the PDF version of this manual by glancing quickly thru it instead of actually reading it. Total fail on my part. But with being said, considering the price and intended use of this item, a more detailed instruction manual seems very much in order in view of the price and item's functional intent. The actual performance, build quality, and functionality of this unit is tops for the price. Durability under use remains to be seen by my actual use, but reviews have all been very favorable thus far concerning this matter. Day time performance under strong sunlight is very impressive and functional for the majority of most likely distances of actual use. The only other short coming besides a more detailed manual in my view is that it lacks a "pulsed /blinking" function for the laser which generally aids the ability to see the laser dot quickly for faster aiming. Outside of these 2 matters, this item is still worthy of serious consideration for purchase by buyers looking for such a firearm Tactical light / laser combo. Highly recommended. ... show more
