Performs as expected. I like the price point for the functionality. The fact that it uses cr123A rather than a rechargeable battery is a plus for me. It's easier to releoad batteries at the range than to recharge on the fly and I imagine that'd hold true for HD applications as well. Love the laser, it's very bright and can pick it up in daylight when my green/red dot optic may not be quite as visible. It's nice to have different levels of brightness and ambidextrous controls. Set up is easy. I've dropped this thing several times, still ticking. I don't get why people don't enjoy olight. I have another model that is fine though with propriety rechargeable battery charging I'm not a fan of. They both work fine. So far I've run my olights alongside streamlihht tlr-1 hls and I'd say they are comparable in most ways except they don't APPEAR as bright but offer brightness control & also give options for running a green laser + white light l, laser only or white light only. Excellent product. Very well built, extremely easy to use. Fit my Sig P226 right out of the box with no fitting adjustments needed. Green laser is highly visible even in daylight, flashlite is VERY bright. I am going to buy another for another as a gift for a friend.

    • Good performer and good value but…
I really like this light. Bought it for my 19X. Great match. Super bright. Activation switch function is excellent and well thought out. Green laser is super bright and visible in daylight. QD lever is easily adjusted and works great. My only complaint is the mode selection switch. It is a small rotating tab that is located on the bottom of the light. It’s location makes it a little vulnerable to unintentional mode change in my opinion. Especially if you are removing or inserting in a holster. I was torn between giving 4 or 5 stars. I went with 5. At this time I’m not using this pistol in a holster so I’m simply speculating and I have not had an issue with it. I did consider using this on a rifle handguard. The way I use my rifles I can almost promise unintentional mode change. You might expect laser+light function and only get laser. Again, speculation. I have not experienced this. Other than that the pros far outweigh this one con. For the price it is very impressive. You would pay double for the Streamlight version which I use on a few rifles. If they made the Olight mode switch a little less exposed it would be perfect “For me”. Now if someone frequently changes modes and wants a switch that is easy to locate and easy to change modes, they might find this design perfect. Regardless it’s a great light and I recommend trying one and seeing what you think. ... show more

This laser/light combo is so much better than expected. Very high and bright lumens, a long-range light in combination with the laser makes it so useful. This light is easy to install, use and the laser is actually visible in daylight (faint, but visible). I was not expecting this product to be so good for the price point as other light/laser combos are quite a bit more expensive. I gave it a five-star rating for reasons of quality, ease of installation and overall performance as advertised. I am buying another one for these reasons. ... show more

I like the light a lot. Light is bright. Laser is bright. 3 settings, laser ; light ; laser & light. Light does stick out past the barrels of handguns ( 4 and 4.5 in) so light does get dirty. That is on me. Adds weight to front to help with recoil.

It was a little shaky at first with mounting it on either the 9mm and 45 cal. Once I figured it out it was easy to mount. The light is very bright and the laser is point stands out. I wish they would make a holster that would fit my weapons with this light. I would buy anothe if I had a holster that would hold the weapon with the light. ... show more

I liked it so much I purchased another one (hasn't arrived yet) but I expect the same quality as my recent purchase (I hope). Will update my review if it's not as good. In any case, I don't need to go in to much detail here as many have already cover many of the high points. However, I will make sure that buyers need to understand the "battery door" issue with non-OLIGHT batteries. Not all batteries are created equal with regards to the "EXACT" size. To avoid ANY problems with the "door popping open" it's simply smarter to use OLIGHT brand batteries that are made for their lasers. You wouldn't want to put a Jackery in your Tesla, right? Well, maybe some would try - lol. Regardless, the OLIGHT brand batteries are specifically fitted to match their product. Their prices are just as competitive as any other 3V 123 Lithium Batteries on the market. And they fit PERFECTLY! No problems. ... show more
