The media could not be loaded. The faux leather is comfortable to the touch, and the padding in seat, back, and arms is quite ample and comfy. Assembly is "easy" in terms of NO HARDWARE, it all slides together. It took my wife and me about 15 minutes total to figure it out, and we are experienced. We could put it together again in half the time, which would be 15 people-minutes. Two are indeed required, because to install the side wings of the back, you have to put lateral pressure from the left side to compress the side wing on the right side enough for the male and female slide fasteners to mate. The problem comes because I am 6 ft 5 in. tall. When sitting upright, my head does not contact the chair back. (When reclined, my butt slides down far enough that my head is now supported.) The motion of reclining the chair, and elevating the foot rest, are mechanically related, not independent. When I put my legs on the foot rest, the foot rest fold down from 180 degrees to 135 degrees. It will not support the weight of my legs. The end of the footrest reaches less than halfway down my calf, so even if the foot rest remained extended to level, it would not be fully supporting the weight of my legs. The quality of materials seems to be very good, so please check the dimensions more objectively than I did. The chair is nice in so many ways, I am struggling to find a sitting strategy that will prevent me returning the chair. PS In the course of making the attached video, I found a way to make the chair work for my purposes!

This chair is horrible. I've had recliners forever and never had a problem. The foot stool won't go down unless I get out of the chair and push it down with my hands. The back part that reclines won't stay back and just pushes you to an upright position. I paid my handyman to put it together and he had the same problems, in addition the left side would not align with the right.

Simple, comfortable, great price, easy to put together. I'm tiny and managed to put this together solo for my grandfather and he has no complaints. Sits in it every morning to read his newspaper. We needed to replace his favorite leather recliner, but authentic ones are way too expensive nowadays. I found this one and for the price, it's a steal. The quality is nice, he says it's comfortable, and it's held up well. We love the color.

The chair is a cut above others I have seen and purchased. VERY comfortable for sitting and sleeping; in fact as far as I'm concerned it only has one flaw ..... If you are 5'7" or taller your going to have a few problems. It was not fitted for the average Western man so your feet hang off the end. If they added 6" onto the foot rest they would have the perfect chair, even at a higher price it would be worth it. RECOMMENDED

likes: the rocking. the width. the height. im 6'0" 215lbs and i fit in the chair nicely. the reclining is ok not great. but i mainly bought the chair for upright posture and rocking. good for my back. comfortable faux leather. plush. nice back and head rest. dislike: setup would have been much easier with two people especially manipulating the box and getting the chair components out. one of the arm pieces was wedged in the chair so tight that a bit of the fabric tore upon removal. thankfully not noticeable. stability is good up and back. less so side to side but i don't plan to go side to side. overall very pleased. it will be interesting to see how durable the material is over time. came in one large box from california.

Overall, I'm happy with the chair for the price, but there are quality issues that almost forced me to return it. I gave it a three because after it had been used only a handful of times one side of the footrest would no longer close. I flipped it over and saw nothing obviously wrong, so I moved on with the other stuff I had to do that day after starting a return for the chair since their help documentation was useless. I returned on the weekend when I had a chance to give it another shot, flipped it over again and noticed the retraction mechanism was broken. It looked like a screw came loose. I happened to mention it to my son and he said he found a screw and out it on the table after playing with it (of course), what luck. I inspected the mechanism and figured out where the screw and had a hell of a time getting it back in. There's no where that screw would have just fallen out, so it seems like whoever put it together had the same trouble I did and just didn't bother putting it all the way in, so it fell out. I'm a big guy (6'1" 225lb with wider shoulders) and the chair fits me great. On comfort and day to day use I'd highly recommend it. However, the pain it was to fix it and the fact that if my son hadn't found that screw I'd be returning it, keeps this from being a glowing 5 star review.

I ordered a set of two of these beautiful, manual recliners. They were reasonably priced and they are the exact color I wanted. One chair arrived 2 days earlier than expected. The other chair arrived on the expected delivery day. The first chair was damaged. I contacted the manufacturer and provided photos of the damage. They responded immediately and sent a replacement exactly as their warranty indicated. I didn't have to return the damaged chair. I didn't have to contact the seller (an Amazon partner). The manufacturer did that and did it in an expeditious manner. I am very pleased with the chairs. It was easy to assemble the chairs (15 mins each). They rock and recline and are extremely comfortable! I placed them in my TV den near the foyer of my home. They are excellent for relaxing and watching TV. I am pleased with the chairs and the excellent customer service the company provided. I would buy another product from this company and I would recommend them because of their outstanding customer service. MP Richmond, VA
