We have a solid foam mattress, so I wanted to get a bed frame that would hold the weight of this mattress along with us. I read a lot of reviews about this bed frame and it seemed like the one for us! It was very easy to put together. You could do it with just one person, but I asked my husband for assistance with putting the main part of the frame together. After he showed me a simple way to do it, I kicked him out of the room and finished it myself. The only thing that I want to tell you about it is that you do need to get a piece of plywood to put over the slats because your mattress we'll start sagging through. Other than that this Frame is awesome! We went from being on the floor, too now 32in off the floor! Maybe I should have gotten the 14 inch high bed frame..... ... show more

Great bed frame. It's very solid when properly assembled. Be sure and tighten the bolts VERY tight if you want to avoid squeaking. Love that it's non-slip. There is a ton of room for storage underneath and you can hide it with a bed skirt. Simple to assemble, comes with everything you need to get it assembled, and has an extra of each type of bolt. The height is perfect for using a mattress only, no box-spring. I saw a review where someone said the slats don't fit and the bed was falling through. They must have done something very, VERY wrong when assembling this. The slats fit solidly in place and are held up by steel slots. Great purchase. ... show more

As I moved to get out of bed middle support just bowed out enough for cross slats to fall. Foot got stuck in frame. Pretty sure my toe is broken. DO NOT BUY!! I have had this less than a week. Someone is getting sued.

This is a GREAT frame! I was worried about needing a bunky board, but the slats are sturdy enough. It doesn't squeak at all since I made sure every bolt was tightened as tight as it would go. The boyfriend and I rigorously tested this frame's durability, and our tests concluded its a great height for those activities. We're having issues mounting our headboard to the frame though. It's an older headboard, so it's not really the frame's fault, but if it were 1/4" taller it'd be perfect! Great storage underneath, too. All of the boyfriend's Kamen Rider stuff is in boxes underneath, and our cat likes the space too. Edit: it's now 2022, and whaddya know, it's still going very strong! I'm very happy with this purchase. Now that we're upgrading to a King... Time to get a King-sized frame! ... show more

I have to say, I think this frame is really nice! I thought it might be too tall when I bought it, I felt It'd be better if I could get a 14 inch frame, but I wanted the room underneath for storage boxes, so I chose this one. It's extremely easy to assemble, and no there isn't any real instructions, just a picture of what goes where, but that really isn't a problem, it's too simple to need step by step instructions. So far it's sturdy enough, looks good, and I'll be getting a headboard to put on it, which BTW there is slits/holes whatever they might call it to install the headboard. I would definitely say this frame is good enough, I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just to put a serta fiber mattress on it without paying the ridiculous price for the bottom box springs, or whatever they might be for a fiber bed, and it did a good job of that! It is true that with the frame being 18 inches, and the mattress being 13 inches, it's rather high, but my knees feel better when I get up from the bed, and it's not so high I can't reach the ground with any problems, I'm just 5ft 4in. I would recommend it! I've included pictures of the frame after we finished assembling it, and how the bed looks on it. ... show more

We loooove this. We recently bought a Casper mattress (it’s awesome!) and got rid of our bos springs and mattress. We had a really deep mattress which I need to get in and out of bed comfortably because I have a bad knee and back. When we got the mattress and put it on our regular size frame the bed was way too low for me to get into and out of without pain. We needed to raise it up and looked for the taller frames without much success. When we ran across this we bought it. It was almost perfect. The only problem we had was that the Casper mattress was soft and we thought that, with time, it would sink through the slats. My nifty hubby cut some ply wood to fit the frame and we put the mattress on top of that and it was the perfect height for me. It looks great in our room and it very easy to clean under. Holy Moly, this bed frame is huge! I didn't realize how tall it was until we put it all together (a process which was very easy btw). I have to hop into bed now with my box spring and mattress on top of this frame, but that is just fine with me. There is now a ton more storage in my room and my cat basically has her own kitty condo as she is also loving the extra space. This frame is pretty sturdy and I haven't noticed much if any noise moving around on top of it. If tall beds are your thing, this frame is perfect.     • Slats do not fit - mattress keeps falling through!

I have tried eveything thing I know to make the slats stay where they are supposed to stay to no avail. My mattress has fallen through multiple times with ME IN IT! Will have to find some type of plywood sheet to make them stay. I've even tried duct taping them in place. Using wire ties. Nothing works. Very disappointed. Update: Nearly a year later, and I am replacing this bed frame with one that does NOT have the slats. My mattress keeps falling through (in the middle of the night while I am sleep!!) because the slats do not stay attached to the edge. ... show more
