The exterior material is a mini twill and not shinny. It is light weight and easy to move around in and it looks good. It keeps the wind out and it keep me warm.... The hood is also detachable which I like.

I had to return it, XL usually fits me loose, but this XL coat was too small and I would have exchanged it for a XXL but the zipper was sewn in backwards, the pull was on the left, I don't know if the one I received was just a fluke. Also, not a big deal but there are buttons up higher than the picture shows.

First is the zipper. It may be for a left handed person - big disappointment. Then to me the zipper should have been a size larger. Someone mentioned soap on the zipper to solve a sticking issue. Thank you for that comment - it worked for me. Size - I am 6' 210lbs. 42" waist, medium build. I bought the ex-LG. It fit a little snug but OK. Sleeves feel also were OK. It fit only with a shirt on me. I went out during a cold - snow "blizzard" in NYC.. It kept me very warm. I liked it. There was an issue walking into the wind. The hood kept going back. I adjusted the cord but it remained an issue - maybe my bad but I think there could be a design issue. The sleeves fit great for me. I then bought the larger coat because of the snugness issue. I planned to return one or the other. Reason was i wanted a vest under the coat. Everything fit OK but the smaller one kept me warmer (without vest). So I ended up with both - go figure. For me the zipper was a killer but overall for the price it was OK. I liked the double pockets. The chest zippers were very misleading but mentioned by the seller. I would recommend looking into a balaclava for very cold weather because of front wind issues. For me it made the difference. Check it out. For the price and compared to others I looked at, for me it worked out great. To others that had issues it may be the luck of the draw. In manufacturing it happens - also I believe this is an OK item but could have been a great coat. Thanks, Ed -SI

Let's start by saying we live in Wisconsin. This coat claims to be a down jacket. So it should be warm. It's got some weight to it, which seems promising. The fur around the hood is mangy and matted down. Maybe needs a fluff and a wash? It shows 2 inside pockets pictured, and only has one. It also hase these vertical zipper pockets up by the chest, that I think a short pen or pencil might fit in. These 2 pickets are really useless. The fur on the inside is very soft and feels great to the touch. It also lines the hood which is nice. The hood doesn't have any connectors towards the front of the jacket, so the ends basically flop around aimlessly unless snapped together under the chin... which is irritating to say the least. We ordered an navy blue, and were sent a black one. The quality seems fine, but not for $77 after taxes. Overall, I'm slightly disappointed, but my 12 year old likes it.

IA was very pleased with the coat I received and I would recommend it to anyone insterested. In buying a coat. I purchased one previously and returned it because the size was wrong. I still have not received my refund or any explanation why not. Emails received said it was approved and returned...WHERE IS IT ..? The coat is a good product...the follow up service is becoming less than satisfactory

Good morning, this product is well made. The size, here in the US we are bigger than they are. The second thing is it has a left handed zipper. I never saw that before. I suppose I could get used to it. If I only wear a t=shirt, it's a snug fit, though I am more inclined to wear layers. It is definitely a well made garment. It's my fault for ordering the wrong size.

This jacket looks nothing like what is pictured. There's about a hundred things wrong with it. First of all the fur trim around the hood is a cheap imitation of what's pictured. Second of all the zipper is on the left side of the jacket. There's about a hundred snags and loose threads all over the place, so the overall quality is trash. It's getting returned immediately.
