  • Wonderful!
Color: Canyon Ocean Size: Inside Delivery and Setup
Couldn’t ask for a chair that can do more for finding comfort.

  • It is an uncomfortable chair
Color: Canyon Walnut Size: Inside Delivery and Setup
Another reviewer noted that this chair was not comfortable and they were right. The cushioning feels like it was done by someone who never sat in the chair. When reclined the leg lift has an awful lump that digs into your calves. The sellers said the chair would be delivered and assembled within days, but it took about ten days. It was brought in and assembled by nice people who did a good job. The sellers were in regular contact with us throughout the process. The features I like about the chair are the cup holder and the phone charger. People have complained that the charger is slow. I haven’t found this to be the case. And I like that you can adjust the headrest and the back and the legs separately. The main problem is the leg rest. It is pretty terrible. When I can afford one, I’ll buy a more comfortable chair. ... show more

  • Fine quality chair that met my expectations ( except delivery promises not met)
Color: Canyon Walnut Size: Inside Delivery and Setup
The chair is everything I expected. Great quality , appearance, and functionality. It’s bigger than what you’d think from its picture, though, but I’m very happy with it. Inside delivery and set up was not done as promised and a semi truck ( rather than the promised smaller box truck)dropped it off on a local dirt road because it couldn’t navigate my driveway. Luckily I have a pickup truck and the driver transferred the chair to my vehicle. It was a great inconvenience and luckily my neighbors helped unload it an bring it in the house. I recently had back surgery and needed the chair or I would have refused delivery! ... show more

  • Regret purchasing this chair
Color: Canyon Silt Size: Curbside Delivery
Update 20230531: Technician arrived at my home as scheduled. He examined the chair and said it is working as intended. If I could give this chain a 0 star rating, I would. According to technician the chair is designed not to provide support to the upper leg area when the leg support is raised. The knees are artificially "locked" by pressure on calves, causing low back pain. I shall be extremely hesitant about (as in never) making any additional purchases of Pride Mobility products. Update 20230525: Manufacturer provided information to schedule technician to come to my home to evaluate the issue on 20230531. I'll post an update after that. Update 20230507: My local dealer informed me today the Pride Mobility is arranging for a field rep to check out the problem with my chair. When my 10-year-old power lift chair died last summer, I looked for a replacement. I found the Pride ViVaLift Radiance 3-Heating Pad Lift Chair Power Recliner on Amazon. At the time there was an-almost $400 delivery charge for the chair. I found the chair at a local business for less than $100 difference in total price and decided having local support (should I need it) to be worth the price difference so I made my purchase locally. Being able to see and try the chair before purchasing it also seemed like a good idea. That the price on Amazon now includes delivery and setup would have made the Amazon purchase more palatable for a current buyer. At first the chair seemed ideal. I am 5’ 7” tall and weight about 265 so I purchased the medium size chair. I have been unable to sleep in a bed for months because of back, leg and shoulder issue. When I tried the chair, it was comfortable and seemed to provide my desired positions. I had the chair for three months before the back stopped reclining. All other functions worked. I contacted my local dealer who advised me to remove all power to the chair for 20 minutes to see if the problem went away. It didn’t so the local dealer sent his representative the same day to examine the chair. The circuit board was faulty, a problem the dealer said he’d see with other chairs. I waited about two weeks without the use of my chair for the new circuit board to arrive. The repair was covered by the one-year warranty. The chair offers a number of features, as enumerated in the Amazon listing. I’ve found the built-in cup holder. Cell phone charger pad and USB port built into the remote control to be useless for me, though others may find those features of use. Neither the charging pad nor the USB port are fast-charge capable, so it would take twice as long to charge my cell phone using the chair options versus my fast-charge pad. Also the charging pad is too small for my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra phone in its case. The phone without the case just barely fits the charging pad. The power headrest and power lumbar support for features I really like. These adjustments initially sold me on the chair when I tried it. I didn’t think I’d use the heat feature when I bought the chair, but I have found it soothes my back pains better than a tradition heating pad and now like that feature. The chair is visually attractive and looks more like a piece of furniture that many of the power lift chairs. The synthetic upholstery has been comfortable, not too hot in summer nor cold in winter. Price Mobility’s web site says “Set your recliner to favorite positions like Trendelenburg and zero gravity ….” The remote control does not include a button for either position so you have to guess at that for yourself. The Trendelenburg position is dangerous for people with certain medical conditions, which the owner’s manual does not mention. The zero gravity position is more than just “Elevate the footrest, then recline the seatback until your thighs and lower legs are positioned slightly higher than your torso.” One definition you’ll find using a web search is “[a] zero gravity position is achieved by lying on your back and raising your legs and head above the level of your heart.” Note the part about the head being above the level of the heart. That’s key for someone who has gastroesophageal reflux disease. I’ve not found a good “zero g” position with my chair. So why do I say I would not buy this chair again, aside from the zero-g issue? Over time the chair’s leg area has become a torture device. I have included photos to go with my descriptions of the problems. When new the chair appeared to have smooth area under the thighs. In photo 1 you see that the highlighted area has “sunk” and no longer supports upper thighs. Photo 3 shows the underside of the area highlighted and the complete lack of any support in the thigh area. The fabric and thin padding hang suspended from the metal frame. What potential buyer would expect to need to turn the chair over to discover lack of proper support for the thighs! Photo 3 shows the highlighted deficiency from the bottom of the leg rest. At the bottom of the highlighted area above the “trough” there’s a metal bar that digs into the calves. The problems with this construction negate any beneficial effects the chair might have had for conditions such as chronic venous insufficiency. I included photo 4 to show that the chair I have is, in fact, a Radiance 3-Heating Pad Lift Chair Power Recliner. ... show more
