My wife and I are in our 70s and decided to give Prevagen a try. After a month of taking the product, and researching reviews and studies, we've decided there isn't enough scientific evidence that it actually improves memory. Neither of us has noticed a noticeable improvement in memory. The company has a pretty convincing marketing plan, that mostly appears to be based on personal opinions by paid actors. We both spent some time researching studies, and found none that were blind scientific studies that provided any conclusions that the product actually improves memory. We've decided to continue to our healthy lifestyle of eating well, exercising, reading, and engaging in mentally stimulating activities. You can't stop the natural aging process, and it seems that at this time, there isn't a proven medicine that can change that. We try our best to make good choices about our health, and the medicines we take. We'd be open to something that has proven to make a difference. Just our opinions. ... show more

As I have aged, I've had a problem with forgetting things that I had just thought of seconds or minutes ago. I had seen ads for Prevagen and thought no way that could work and it's just another snake oil. I was browsing Amazon one night and came across an ad for Prevagen. Still skeptical, I said what the heck. Let me order some and give it a try. The first few days, nothing special. After about 2 weeks, I noticed my mind had more clarity. I wasn't as forgetful as I had been before. Was this just the placebo effect or was it for real? It is real. This has really helped me. I have more clarity.
