I was looking for a coat to wear in our coldest months of winter, and possibly in the snow. This coat meets my needs beautifully. It's what I would call a puffer coat. It's lightweight, but soft and warm. It is generously sized, so you can wear layers under it, if you like. I especially like the 2-ended zipper, so you can unzip from the bottom to get into the car or sit down without all the bulk around your legs. I also like the 2 front zip pockets, that are deep enough to hold my iPhone and still zip up comfortably. With Winter coming on, this helps me look forward to the cold days and nights.

I live in NJ where our winters can be very cold. I don't think this jacket will keep me warm below 40 degrees farenheight to be honest. If you live in a colder climate, I would not get this jacket. It looks nice, but the stuffing is sparse and the shell of the coat is very thin. If something sharp gets caught on this, it's definitely ripping. It even came with a hole on the inside of the right pocket. The snap buttons are almost too strong for the fabric, too. I feel like if I use the snap buttons the material will rip easily if I don't undo the jacket snaps carefully. You can get a much better coat for the price, however, this jacket is stylish and roomy enough to wear layers underneath (if you size it right) to keep warm. It definitely fashionable, but is lacking in quality.

This coat is quite nice. I’m amazed that a coat as long as this one can be so light! It does seem that the coat will be very warm (it hasn’t gotten cold yet where I live). I’m disappointed that this coat like so many before, has sleeves way too long. I’m short, and I do feel like I’m drowning in coat when I put it on. If you are over 5”2”, it may be a better fit.

This is a very well made coat. Attention to detail is obvious, It has a double front Zipper as well as snaps for those extra cold days, a nice hood that can be removed but the way the hood and jacket join there is no gap to let cold air or wind reach the back of the neck. Double stitched at stress points. Lining is very nice and feels nice next to the skin. The material is very nice and when tested shed water so it is at the very least moisture resistant. The filling is a nice thickness. We normally get some well below zero days not counting wind chills, expect this coat will handle them great.
