I ordered this skirt for work and it is perfect! Fits true to size, has some stretch to it so it fits snug, but not binding at all. I ordered the dark brown skirt and it's a beautiful color. I'm 5'4", 155 lbs and I ordered the size 14 and it fit perfectly. I loved it so much that I ordered it in black as black. They will look great with boots this winter!

Color: Brown - It is more a golden, caramel brown, not a cocoa brown. A wide-wale corduroy type fabric, with a good amount of stretch to it. That being said, I sized up two sizes to an 18! Usually a 14 with Ann Taylor, Talbots, but based on reviews, I sized up! Glad I did! This skirt also has two front side pockets which I don't like because they tend to add or gap no matter what and ruin the look of clothing! The lining of the pockets move around so I will trim those off and tack the pockets closed. I personally don't like pockets on anything for that reason - they ruin the line of the clothing. That is why I carry a handbag! I recommend this skirt, but be sure to size up! The color is lovely for Autumn, the fabric is lightweight, will be perfect with boots, and a sweater. There is a nylon zipper front, with a button closure. Enjoy it!

Normally I’m a 6-8 for bottoms and I am very pear shaped (34-27-40). Luckily I followed the size guide and read reviews so I ordered up to a size 12, or 4 inches larger than my natural waist, to allow for some extra room. I’m glad I did, as the hips and thighs aren’t tight and I have about an extra 2 inches on the waist which I can easily belt. So the size chart is not quite true either and this is definitely cut for a curvier shape. The material is thick, warm and well made. The color is slightly redder than online, but I’m happy. It hits me at just below my mid calf and the slit goes to a few inches above my knee, perfect for a knee high boot. Overall, I’m happy with this skirt, but beware of the sizing and if you want a looser fit, add an additional size, as that worked for me.

My measurements are 36-28-39. Because of the reviews I ordered a size 10 originally instead of my usual 8. It was way too big. I returned the 10 and got an 8 and it fits great, it’s even a tad loose. The skirt is super cute and is great for fall!

I’m so disappointed because this is such a cute skirt, but the waist is so tiny! I even sized up after reading some of the reviews, two sizes, and it still didn’t fit. I’m 5’9” and around 150 lbs and usually wear a size 6-8. I ordered this in a 10 and I can’t button it. I’m not even sure a size 12 would fit comfortably. Everything else about this skirt is great but how they they get the sizing so wrong? This brand usually kills it.

Another good find by PrettyGarden. It looks nicer than just a casual skirt but at the same time is quite comfortable. It is made out of a corduroy fabric that looks cozy. It has two side pockets, a front zipper with a button closure, and a wide elastic band in the back of the waistband. It also has a front slit of a comfortable length. I think this skirt is perfect for a fall day, with a soft sweater and finished with a pair of boots. I am 5 feet and 5 inches tall and weigh 130 pounds and normally wear medium-sized clothes. Based on the provided size chart, I got a size 8, and it fits me right except in the waist. With a lot of skirts and pants I get on Amazon, I find that the waist is too tight, especially if it has an elastic band. Would be nice for the clothing manufacturers to realize that most of us have larger waists than their models. However, I am not taking any stars off for that because I know that my waist could use some slimming. Other than that, I like this skirt and can’t wait for the fall to come to wear it.

I ordered the PRETTYGARDEN Women's Fall Midi Pencil High Waisted Long Slit Corduroy skirt in the wine color. Based on reviews I took a shot and ordered this one size larger. I am a curvy, 5'8" and normally wear a 16 on the bottom in most lines. I tried the skirt immediately upon opening and am thrilled to say it fit me perfectly! It is a stretch corduroy feel, but you still have a traditional button and fly. That is usually wear I find garments don't fit me well, but this fit, again, perfectly. The skirt hugged my curves and FLATTERED them, not the opposite. The skirt is very comfortable, fits wonderfully (again, I sized up one size), and looks amazing and modern with the front slit and midi length. Good price point. I am a teacher and this skirt earns an A from me. Highly recommend if you follow reviewer advice for sizing.
