Bought this for the garage for my car wash setup. I am going to put another short hose of the end so it doesn’t have that hard of a bend on the hose that way. But I like to have the quick connect so I can take the longer hose off to use with another pressure washer if I want. The reel has a locking feature so you can lock it and it won’t unravel. Came with all the fittings I needed and the leader hose seems to be really heavy duty. One thing I have to note is that this item while it says it is prime 2 day shipping it is in fact not. It took an extra 4 days to get it. It’s being shipping from the seller to Amazon who then ships it to you. Update: I have noticed I am getting a strong water hammer since I started using this reel. I’m only using a small, less than 2000 psi pressure washer with it for washing cars but when I release the handle it makes a loud bang. I believe this issue caused my garden hose to pop a hole in it from the back pressure. I’m trying to look into solutions to fix this. I thought of putting a standard water hammer arrestor on this but I think the pressure is too grate

I installed this reel on my truck and ever since then, has worked great, installation was a snap, and has saved me a lot of time on the job site. Running full pressure from the pressure washer, no leaks. This was an awesome price. I recently lost the handle to it while driving. Not a defect in the reel, more my fault for not checking the screws as I intended. I reached out to the manufacturer to see if a replacement part could be sent, and for the price, they immediately sent one out to me no charge.

I was hesitant to buy this due to only one review, but I'm glad I did. I was worried about getting a whip hose that was under rated for my 4200 psi power washer. I looked at it and it was a super heavy duty hose! I was even more surprised to see a 7685 psi rating printed on the hose. It must be the burst rating... or is it the working pressure? In anycase it's a stout hose. The wheel itself is sturdy with a stainless steel core and the fittings are of good quality. I have 25 lbs of 100 ft hose (rated at 4800 psi w 10000 psi burst rating) on the reel. I like that it has a lockable wheel to keep the reel from rotating under the heavy weight of the hose.

After 20 minutes of test fitting everything I could not get my pressure washer hose to fit. The instructions are woefully inadequate. One 5x7 piece of paper with no diagrams on what fits where. After contacting the seller they put together a video that helped. The unit comes with fittings for a 3/8" NPT hose. My hose is 1/4" NPT. I purchased 3/8" NPT 1/4" NPT Reducer and all is well. My hose is also thinner than the ones that have a 3/8" NPT fitting so I probably could have gotten a reel for a 50 foot hose. Overall I am happy with the purchase and the quality of the hose reel. Once again the customer service is excellent!

Aa a professional detailer I do gotta say this hose reel will only work for you if you use your hose only a hand full of times a year and nothing more. This hose reel won't lock correctly using 100 ft hose, the bolts holding the wheel on are already lose straight out of package, I thought ok maybe I just a bad one let's get a new one, I only used the new one for 3 days and 2 out of the 3 bolts are gone just came straight out while I tired to roll up the hose. 100% do not recommend unless you wanna buy another new one within a week.

The connections are listed as NPT. The reel I received does not have NPT threads for the connection to the pressure washer hose, the connection from the reel to the pressure washer is as described. I took the non NPT connection parts to a local business specializing in hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial products to try and get the hose connected. They were not able to identify the threads. They gave me something close and I was able to get it together however I have a small drip. Follow up - The seller reached out to fix any problems I had with the reel. They did everything necessary to make sure I am happy with my purchase.
