Amazing price/value
Size: 4" Bluetooth
The PreSonus Eris Accent BT bookshelf speakers are an absolute masterclass in audio engineering, delivering a jaw-dropping sonic performance that punches far above its weight class. From the moment you fire them up, the sheer depth and clarity of the soundstage will completely redefine your home listening experience. Powered by 60 watts of raw, crystalline Class D power, these beautifully crafted wood-grain cabinets effortlessly fill any room with punchy, distortion-free bass and shimmering, pristine highs that capture every nuance of your favorite tracks. If you are currently relying on a standard television setup, ditching your lackluster soundbar for these speakers is the single greatest home theater upgrade you can make. While even high-end soundbars struggle with compressed, narrow audio and muddy dialogue, this stereo pair throws out an expansive, authentic soundstage that wraps entirely around you. The difference is night and day; instead of sound being pushed out from a single plastic tube beneath your TV, you get massive stereo separation that makes movies feel truly cinematic and vocal frequencies cut through with absolute realism. The most staggering part of the package is the price-to-performance ratio, which offers an almost criminal amount of value for under $160. To prove just how versatile these are, I hooked up a professional-grade measurement microphone to benchmark the frequency response in my treated studio spacen.. fine-tune the EQ curve and perfectly flattens the room acoustics and you can unlock an extra 15% of hidden mid-range detail. Between the seamless Bluetooth 5.3 streaming, the abundance of digital optical and USB-C inputs, and that generous sub-out port for future upgrades, you simply cannot find a more versatile, audiophile-grade setup without spending triple the money. I immediately bought the next size up for my office (in black). ... show more

Best connectivity options, high-quality sound
Size: 4" Bluetooth
These speakers are fantastic. Great size. Fantastic sound quality. Reasonable price. The best connectivity I found. It's got Bluetooth, optical, RCA, quarter inch. Just a fantastic set of speakers. Couldn't be happier with this upgrade. Good bass levels. Really great dynamic range. The setup was super easy. The Bluetooth is reliable. Contrary to other reviews, I've never had it drop. It reconnects after a power off, so that's been good. The only thing is I wish there was a light on the front instead of on the side, because it's hard to see the status of it, whether it's off, on, or in Bluetooth mode. It would also be nice if there was a tonal confirmation when changing inputs via the remote. Those are minor nits. Don't let those minor things stop you from getting these. They're a fantastic set of speakers for your computer setup or for a living area. Can't go wrong. ... show more

Amazing little speakers with utterly poor bluetooth.
Size: 4" Bluetooth
These speakers sound amazing! They have reignited in me the love of just sitting and listening to music in a quiet room without anything else on (no phones). Just sit and listen, they sound great! There's plenty of bass and excellent highs with their soft dome tweeter. These easily fill a large room with great sound. While the sound quality is impressive for their small size, so is the connectivity. This is one of the reasons I bought these speakers is because they have all sorts of inputs, from USB, to AUX to Bluetooth. I also really like that they have a remote control so using them in the living room works extremely well with the remote. Overall, all of the connectivity is great making them very flexible in how they are used. Appearance wise, they are wood grain on the side with black bottom and top. I would have preferred an all wood grain appearance (or even an all black appearance). If you ask me, the half wood / half black is kinda cheap looking and diminishes their appearance. The fabric fronts are easily removable if that look is important to you as well. I docked one star because of the bluetooth. The Bluetooth is finicky at best. In fact, I am often fighting with it to get it to connect to my iphone. You can hear the speakers "click" on, but no sound comes out. Check the BT light, it's blue (connected), still no sound. Push the volume up, nothing, even turn the volume up on the speakers and the volume indicator on my phone moves with it... definitely connected but no sound. Power cycle the speakers again, and voila, sound. It's a frustrating dance that occurs almost daily with these speakers. I really wish the BT worked better. I was going to exchange these for another pair but they were sold out for most of the month of January. By the time they got them back in stock my return window had closed. So, I guess I'm living with the BT the way it is. Also, the BT is not multipoint, which for a pair of speakers would have been a great addition. Switching from one device to another requires you to hit the pair button the side of the speakers. Not ideal and this is another unfortunate mis for Presonus on this speaker pair. Overall, I'll say that the sound quality for their small size is great and besides the BT issues, they're really good for the price. If you're buying these primarily for the BT feature, just know you might have some frustration with it. 5/5 on sound, 3/5 on connectivity. ... show more

Outstanding clarity, detail and flat clean sound
Size: 4" Bluetooth
Eris Accent BT 4" Wood Grain (connected via USB): These are VERY nice monitors. I always prefer monitors for my office computer speakers for the flat, uncolored response, and that is what these deliver. These replaced a pair of Mackie bookshelf monitors that gave up the ghost on the left/passive channel. There is a beautiful level of presence, detail and clarity in both vocals and individual instruments on the Eris Accents that makes it feel like I'm listening to certain songs for the first time. Very nice, and considerably better than the Mackie's. Low end is solid all the way down to where it naturally cuts based on the driver dimensions and port resonance. Of course, the rest of the low end below this point is attenuated. Will eventually make this setup a 2.1 by adding the PreSonus 8" Sub to fill out the low end. In the meantime, I added +3db on the low end eq on the speaker which helps a bit but want to get back to that uncolored sound across the full spectrum. There is plenty of volume for my home office. Set my Windows volume to 50% then dialed in the mid-level of loudness that I desired via the speaker remote (remote is line of sight only), and this results in plenty of volume control via Windows alone. Connectivity options abound. Besides USB as my main source, I'll route my Echo out to the 3.5mm port, and connect my phone on BT. This amp is really clean through the USB connection, with absolute silence between tracks on Amazon Audio using the Ultra HD quality setting. This is another area in which the Mackies lacked. Overall very good monitors at a reasonable price. Highly recommended. ... show more

Speakers
Size: 4" Bluetooth
The speakers sound great. No regrets on this purchase

Very surprised and impressed.............
Size: 4" Bluetooth
I bought Lonpoo LP42A powered speakers for a vinyl/CD setup in my office. The LP42A is rated at 60w RMS, but it just didn't get very loud. The speakers were ported, but would reach max relatively quick. I became skeptical about the actual rated output. I decided to spend a bit more money on the PreSonus which are alos rated at 60w RMS and liked the fact these are US made and come from a company that specializes in PA/DJ setups. Well, after setting these speakers up I am very, very happy. They sound much better and get MUCH louder than the Lonpoo LP42A. Both have 4" woofers, but the Eris Accent has a crisper, deep and more full sound profile. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for great audio sound in a small room or office setup. ... show more

Overall, the sound and details are good, but read the 2nd paragraph.
Size: 4" Bluetooth
The sound quality other reviewers praised, along with connectivity and price, drove my purchasing decision. I stand by those aspects and recommend the unit. I wanted a model with manual bass/treble adjustments, optical connection, and sound versatile enough to be used as a "sound bar" for my TV. Plus, it has a single line sub-out, which I will use in the future. I paid $159 for it on sale. My only complaint is the remote - and it is a big one for me. It has the same transmission coding as the unit for my dvd/bluray player, yet the buttons don't align at all. So basically I can't use it with the player, because I frequently need to change volume or mute, but that changes the function of the bluray - and vice versa with the BR remote. I am stuck with both, but it drives me nuts. I may buy a different player - likely a Sony, and see if I still have the issue. If I do, I may have to sell the ERIS Accent BT. I have little money, but I do have a bunch of dvd's/blurays, including many I will rewatch more than once. ... show more
