Built to last.
Style: Fixed Angled Whip
Worked perfectly with my Randy III, cable thin enough to close the door on for a non permanent install. Or install it permanently your choice. Nice strong magnet, I’ve had it up to 90 mph without a shutter. I expected nothing less from President.

"Engineered to be the very best"
Style: Fixed Angled Whip
As others have stated, this is well built with a strong magnet. And the antenna cable is a little small in diameter. But I care about performance. So I tested the antenna with my NanoVNA, and it's frequency coverage (when mounted as shown) is spot-on. The markers in the photo are the 10 dB return-loss frequencies (26.85 and 27.40 MHz), corresponding to channels below 1 and basically up to 40. The VSWR at these frequencies is 2:1 - which is absolutely fine. Only 10% of power out of the radio is reflected and the rest is emitted. So range and receiver sensitivity are going to be excellent. Between these two frequencies, the RL reaches almost 40 dB which is a near perfect 1:1. But I don't care about that. 2:1 or better is good. Kudos to President Electronics for making such a small antenna work this well. As their slogan goes, their stuff seems to be "Engineered to be the very best". :-)

Good, not great.
Style: Fixed Angled Whip
4 stars only because it appears to be tuned for the upper half of the CB range. I’m using a Cobra 75 All road in a Toyota Tacoma ‘18. The Virginia is mounted driver side rear of the roof (I also have a ham antenna room mounted). So fat channels 1-19 are 2.5:1 roughly, with CH 19 at around 2.0:1. CH 20 is around 1.8:1 with CH 40 near 1.2:1. It’s all workable as it’s under 3.0:1 but I wouldn’t use this if you work the lower band all the time. I plan on moving the antenna to the middle of the roof to see if having a more uniform ground plane helps. A short CB antenna will never be perfect, that’s just physics. This does the job despite those drawbacks. If you’re only using CB for local comms on the road and need a small footprint, this is a solid solution.

President Virginia F Antenna
Style: Fixed Angled Whip
After many years of using different CB radios and different antennas this antenna is the best magnet mount I have used PERIOD. No tuning and retuning, no fighting to get coax into car (coax is less than half size of RG 58). Reception is excellent, both CB and weather channels (President Bill III).

Doesn't meet the stated SWR specs.
Style: Fixed Angled Whip
SWR reading was not as stated. I got 1.5 on channel 1, 2 on channel 20 and 3 on channel 40. Plus, it is a fixed length, with no adjustment possible. O.K if you're just listening but transmitting above channel 20 is a gamble. Get the Cobra HG A1000, it's adjustable, not much taller, and $10 cheaper.

Great little antenna for the money
Style: Fixed Angled Whip
Great little antenna. They say it has a range of 5-6 miles, but I think that is more mobile to mobile. I spoke to a base station the other day that was easily 15+ miles away. Terrain & other obstacles shorten the range.

Great reception and looks good!
Style: Fixed Angled Whip
I highly recommend the President Virginia fixed antenna. This is by far the best magnetic antenna I have found for my CB. Worked straight out the box with low SWR. Give it a try!!

Vast improvement over my handheld's (President Randy III) rubber duck antenna.
