OK, yes, this clock is pretty cheap plastic. And the back is incredibly hard to figure out how to get off. (Get a butter knife, and the whole back will pop off.) But the darn thing is cute as could be! I'm fine with the cheap plastic since it just sits there on a shelf looking pretty and keeping time. ... show more

This clock is perfect for my corner cabinet! It’s not made of wood but it looks like it is. The color matches the end table I have in my living room which is made of real wood and it looks just like the clock. So, I wanted real wood but now it doesn’t bother me that it’s not wood. Replace mantel clock that stopped working after 20+ years. Don't think this one will last more than a year. It is working okay but no second hand is disappointing. It is cute but horrible quality.
