I use this in combination with sealing wax to mark the bottles of mead and fruit wine that I make. After feeling like an idiot and figuring out how to get the paint into the tip (I just had to press down firmly for a few seconds), it started working great! Very easy to mark on the wax, I don't have to go over it twice. Dries fairly quickly for oil based paint. Has a nice gold shimmer which goes well with the metallic sealing wax. These markers have more of an antique gold finish. So, I used them for highlighting. I painted the wrought iron leaves on my end tables gold. Then I used this color to highlight. It's a little bit more of a subdued gold color.
