I always worry that if there was a fire in or around our house, none of us would remember how to use the fire extinguisher or they would be expired and not work. This gives me so much peace of mind. I purchased two, to place one inside the house near my stove in a cabinet and then place the other one outside where I have my grill and pizza oven. I feel so much better that I know that if anything happens, we will be protected against flash fires with this blanket. It’s very easy to put up. Just put up a hook wherever you wanted to go and then hang it up. That’s all there is to you pull on the cords and the blanket slides right out very easily and then you place it on the fire. You could do all of this in a second Whereas it would take me minutes to figure out a fire extinguisher. A fire extinguisher is better to cover larger fires and wider areas, however they are a mess. These blankets are much easier and neater to use in small contained fires, like on a stove top.

I watched the videos and read the reviews, In my opinion everyone should have one. We haven't needed to use it and hopefully we won't need to. This was a small price to pay for peace of mind. Instructions are clearly stated, it has a small footprint and we keep it in the kitchen.
