There was a couple of chips on the paint but it came with a marker that covers up the chips. It was very easy to assemble. The quality was better than I expected. I bought a dresser for my daughter from another company and it came apart with in the year we got it. It was very solid material.

Overall very well designed and engineered, with components well-machined for tight interlocking during assembly. Very attractive when fully assembled. Three minor criticisms: 1) It would have been nice if 1-2 extra pieces of the various types of hardware could have been included in case of loss or defect of what was supplied, and 2) the assembly manual is missing a critical step after Step 11 in which the actual instruction for the bureau top to be installed to the frame below was forgotten, and 3) the upper backing that gets nailed to the frame is not sized correctly width-wise and overlaps with the lower portion of the back frame. ... show more

Took a total of 2 hours and 25 minutes to put together by myself with a screw driver instead of a drill. All the pieces were there and nothing was damaged. Only issue I had was that somethings I had to lay out exactly the way it showed on the instructions because it didn’t have the little stickers that said which piece was which, so it took a little longer trying to double check that I was using the right panels. So I just finished putting it together andthis is what I think. Very heavy sturdy material. Exactly what I wanted and not too expensive. Here is the flaws. I’m missing one screw for the drawers. There were some defects on the wood. Nothing that was too harmful just some extra material left behind. The instructions were not great. It was missing a whole step but I am an engineer and realized it. It also missing some details with the red and blue railing. Hard to figure out which goes where. Used mostly my judgment. There are also these white pieces that screw into the bottom of the drawers that don’t really fit. It cracked the wood on the first drawer I put it on and another is just got smashed. For reference, I’m a 22 year old girl who goes to the gym and can lift pretty heavy. I could NOT move this package into my room. I had to open it up and carry the individual wooden boards out. So if you’re single or planning to do this alone like I did, be aware that this package is very heavy. Overall, it took me a little over 3 hours to build. I don’t have any electric tools, so I hand screwed all of the nails and everything. It seems pretty sturdy, I didn’t have any missing parts and overall it was not super hard to put together. The only reason why I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the inside of the drawers is not painted white. The outside and everything on the dresser itself is white (except for one board in the back that is just a regular wooden board with no paint), but once you open a drawer it’s just the cheap wooden board without any paint. In my opinion that makes it feel a bit cheap that they didn’t paint every board for the drawers. However, for the price point I can’t really be mad, it was just a little disappointing because I didn’t know it was going to be like that. I was assuming everything was going to be white. The pictures don’t show you this so just be aware that the inside of your drawers will not be painted. But they’re gonna be filled with clothes anyway so I don’t really mind. Beautiful, solid dresser. Easy to assemble, even for one person. I would suggest packaging the hardware separately and labeling where it goes. All my hardware was mixed together in one bag and it made it hard to find some things and led to me using the incorrect cams a few times. Over all it was super easy to figure out where everything went. Good size, small enough for smaller spaces, but big enough to fit larger spaces as well. ... show more

Color looks great, materials you can see aren't as durable but for someone that takes care of things it will last. Build it with someone else I built it by myself and took me hours hahaha. Instructions can be a bit better but they are clear enough and you don't need a drill to put it together.

I’m so tired of the flimsy, cheap dresser all over Amazon, so I shouldn’t have been surprised that this was super heavy. The material is decent quality but a piece of it had snapped in on itself before we’d opened it. Luckily customer service was a BREEZE. No wait time, no hoops to jump through. Just one phone call and giving them the item code and it’s on its way. They had all my info despite me calling through the website and not Amazon, so I was impressed. It’s easy enough to put together if you know what you’re doing and have the right tools. I recommend using a drill. But if you’re like me, it will take you a couple hours.
