Description

Add storage, style and comfort to your bedroom with the Prepac Select 4-Post Platform Bed. The elegant design features solid wood posts with a sleek finished bed frame. Custom hardware keeps the bed aligned and requires only your mattress. The wood slat system, which comes in two sections, prevents motion transfer to provide individual comfort. The platform is raised 8.5 inches in height which allows for optional under bed storage. Two large drawers add storage functionality to the Select Platform Bed. Drawers can be added to either side of the bed. Each large roll out drawer (38"W x 5.5"H x 23"D) offers plenty of storage space for your blankets, linens, clothes or pillows. Five caster wheels allow you to roll these extra-large drawers to reach your belongings with ease.

Exactly what I was looking for! It has really deep & spacious drawers. They're alittle hard to pull out, but they're very well hidden. Almost as if they're not there! It was pretty easy to assemble. You just need another willing person and voila! You have yourself a sturdy bed.

Honestly, I was a little weary, considering the price...BUT... It turned out great!!! It took 3 hours to assemble, but we only had one screw driver, so it could have taken less time, but, with one person it'll take about 3 hours. We did end up drilling in the planks to the frame, so they wouldn't shift around. I got to ditch my box spring, which is nice. Also, I'm actually sleeping better. This frame is awesome, and nice to look at. And, the drawers are HUGE, which is a bonus, and it was way better than taking up more space with an extra dresser in the room. Oh, and it arrived weeks before the date they gave me, and that was even with the free shipping!!! ... show more

I love how this bed looks, it was pretty easy to assemble alone. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is that the finish scratches really easy, & the drawers aren't on a track, they do have castors, but I worry they'd get gummed up a bit on the carpet. Be prepared for 3 heavy, awkward boxes to arrive, thankfully the UPS guy brought them into the house for me. ... show more

Besides the chips/dents in the MDF the bed looks pretty good. Chemical smell went away after a month or so. Seems pretty sturdy so far.

    • Cheap, broke under a year. Dont waste your money
So this thing was fairly simple to put together. However thats the only good thing about it. I bought this in January and by June it broke and was being held together by some third party hardware. It's now October and it just totally bit the dust. The slats that hold the bed are very lose and don't lock, I dont recall the instructions saying to nail them down, but you have to or you are gonna collapse part of the bed. The side of the bed is bowing out which only exacerbates the first problem Pretty sure it's partical board or some other cheap throwaway wood,, cause the screws started to fall out that hold the metal bars that go across each corner on and the threads are just totally shot The metal tabs on the side board that connect the foot and headboard bent which made them unusable. Had to order a bed connector set from Amazon to make it usable again. Tldr; dont waste your money, this is insanely overpriced and won't last. ... show more

Sturdy and nice looking. NO rails for the drawers to roll on. The drawers just roll on the floor. Works just fine for us but might not for others.
