    • Get the headboard not the bed

This arrived in great shape, no scratches, gouges or breaks. It looks very nice, as if it were a quality headboard. There are 9 separate pieces that need to be fitted together. It took me 15 to 20 minutes from box to assembly and I'm old with arthritis, so I figure any reasonably fit person can do it in under 15 minutes. As far as it's claim of wood, it is furniture board made from wood. Not solid hardwood. I looked at furniture stores and found headboards that are about the same quality as this one for about the same, maybe a little higher price. Keeping in mind the price of this headboard, it is all right. It is a denser particle board, it's called furniture board. IT IS NOT SOLID WOOD. The middle panel of the headboard is as thin as cardboard. I can't imagine it holding up to anyone leaning against it to read. I will expect it would rip right off in that case. As far as the furniture board goes, it's about 3/4 " thick, so not super sturdy. I say just get the headboard, not the bed because I couldn't imagine the bedframe made of this material holding up well at all. I suggest just getting a metal bed frame and attaching the headboard alone. Time will tell how this headboard lasts. I really hope at least the warranted 5 years. Overall, the headboard alone looks nice, was very easy to assemble, although it was in many pieces and is a bit "iffy" on the sturdiness. For the price, it is average of what I've seen at stores. Unless you want to spend over $1000 on a solid hardwood headboard or $2000 or more on a solid hardwood bed, you will get the furniture board like this one. Just know quality costs a whole lot more where any furniture is concerned. ... show more

Husband made fun of it- it does look a little flimsy in pieces, but assembled looks fantastic for quick nice headboard. FYI- there are no holes to attach to the bed frame so you will want to plan for skills to drill and bolt it to your headboard.

The media could not be loaded. My husband and I bought this item (along with other matching pieces) as a temporary solution to our current apartment living with the expectation that we would eventually buy a home and move these to be part of the guest room and replace with better furniture. I am extremely happy with the quality and look of these that they’ve just become a permanent part of our bedroom, even when we move! The assembly was a tad bit tough since none of the items were marked- but I used sticky notes to try and mark everything to make it easier, and my husband (who’s very handy- works in construction) didn’t have too hard of a time doing so. Was not packaged well at all, super disappointed that the wood came split like that because it’s way too much of a pain to return something like this. They do offer to send replacement parts so I’m going to go that route. It is beautiful set up and I am happy with it overall.

Cheap wood, cheaply painted, and a pain to put together. Just the slightest touch will scratch off the thin white paint showing the cheap particle board under it. Its for a guest room, so Ill have to put a few coats of paint on it myself and live with it for the time being. Definitely not worth $$$$

I was looking for a wood headboard that was thin and easy to assemble to replace an old painted headboard. I made the right choice by ordering this one!! I put it together myself and it fit my queen bed perfectly! It’s not screwed in to the frame, but it’s just here for looks. LOVE IT!

It’s not real wood but still sturdy. None of the pieces come labeled like on the directions but as long as you pay attention it’s easy enough to figure out as there aren’t that many pieces.
