I bought this to put in an extra bedroom in my home. It’ll probably never really be used (inside) but the price and look was great for me! For just under 145.00 I am extremely satisfied. The quality appears to be decent and if you don’t mishandle or be rough this could potentially last for a many of years. The inside drawers are not too small for a slim/narrow chest. Assembly was very easy. I followed the instructions and it was a breeze. All parts minus one nail was missing. The one nail didn’t effect finishing assembly however the seller should automatically include a few extras of nails etc even if it’s only 2 or 3 to be safe because about 2 or 3 instantly broke as if they were rotted or no good. Overall if your on a budget or not looking for anything on the upper side I recommend purchasing this.

So, I just finished assembling this dresser and wanted to write a review while the experience is still fresh in my mind. Before going further, let me say that I have assembled many different types of this "you-do-it" furniture over the years (and have the extensive and colorful vocabulary of curse words to prove it), so I feel qualified to give a review. First, this baby is HEAVY. The UPS man trotted it up to my doorstep on his shoulder and sat it down like it was a sack of potatoes, but I couldn't move it off the porch. Once hubby arrived home, we got the box inside (he had to use a dolly, I don't know what they feed those UPS guys!). The parts were very well packaged and all the pieces were there, which was exciting. No serious damage. A slight scuff mark on one of the sides, but since it was going in my closet, I didn't particularly care. Once I began to assemble the dresser, I was pleasantly surprised. (Yes, I assemble, my husband totes. This is why my marriage has lasted over 30 years). The pieces are really solid for this type of furniture. Also, the manufacturer went to some considerable trouble with the directions. They are actually very clear (rather than being written in a dead language that no one has spoken for a couple thousand years), and have many helpful diagrams. They even color coded some of the parts for those of us who have trouble programming a DVR. (Note: you do actually need to READ the directions and follow them even though we all know that real men don't need directions. And no skipping ahead!). I was one of the lucky ones this time and all of my pre-drilled holes aligned and joints fit. Even so, it took me about 2 hours to assemble because the manufacturer put some thought into this thing and made it sturdy. Once complete, I'm really pretty happy with it. Now, something that I don't particularly like. There's no bottom on the dresser. It's open to the floor. Also, the back doesn't go all the way to the floor. This is probably not an issue if it's going in your bedroom or your closet, but if you intend to put it somewhere for storage, you may want to attach some plastic to the bottom/back of the dresser so you don't have little creepy crawlies make themselves at home in your drawers. Is there a gap between the dresser top and the top drawer? Yes. But it's only about 1/4" and I haven't seen one of these ready-to-assemble pieces that doesn't have gaps somewhere. The drawers fit surprisingly snug, however. I also am not crazy about having the cams on the inside of the drawer where my clothes will go, but that's not a show stopper. They don't stick out so that they're likely to snag on my clothes and I'll probably forget they're there by next week. It would be nice if the manufacturer had included some of those little plastic covers that snap over the cams. Overall though, I'm impressed with the quality and I feel it is worth the price I paid. I would recommend this piece to others who are looking for something similar. (Hint: when assembling, the drawer bottoms sometimes have difficulty sliding into the groove on the drawer front. If you loosen the cams on one side of the drawer, you can slide the bottom into the groove and re-tighten the cams. Worked every time!)

Good solid dresser. The drawer bottoms have nails in back and a screw in front. Could be stronger by having a groove in front and back to fit in place. The top was scratched. Not sure if i did that or came that way. It's in the closet so not a big deal. They used spray foam to pack it in safely. Worked. But one of the drawers had spray foam or something on the front. It was missing 24 #8 1 & 1/2 inch screws. Looked everywhere. Even with a magnet. Used my own 24 screws. And there were 11 extra black twister dowels and 5 extra drawer slide screws. Bummed about the missing screws (took a star off) but solid dresser, fairly simple to put together, packed well, looks good. Oh, I added some OctinPris polished chrome knobs i bought off amazon for $12. To me, makes the dresser look better. Pictured both with original black and chrome knobs.

This fits perfectly for the space we needed it in. It was packaged really well, no broken or missing pieces. Yes, I had to put it together, but the directions were straightforward. It was easy to put together because of how things were labeled (drawer track wheels were color coated) and the tasks were repetitive. Overall, a great experience and I would order from this seller again.

I usually don't write negative reviews, as I would rather focus my time and effort on the good. But this product's shortcomings and utter disappointment were just too bad to ignore and I really don't want any others having to deal with the same things I had to, if they can help it. The pieces, in particular the cam locks, are cheap and brittle and 3 of them were brojen upon arrival. I attempted to reach out to the company for replacements through 2 emails and 2 phone calls, all of which none were returned. I then tried visiting my local hardware stores (Ace, Home Depot and Lowes). None of which had these syrangely sized cam locks. The drawers all have gaps of differing sizes, as you can see in the photo, and wobble horribly when opened and closed. But I think the most egregious thing of them all is the smell. I've had items that off gas for a day or two but then always go away. The chemical smell on this still has not gone away, even with all my bedroom windiws open, nearby bathroom window open, fans on. I've tried wiping it diwn with white vinegar and dusting it with baking soda but the smell pervades still. And it has given me a multitude of headaches and lightheadedness. So much so that I had to ask my neighbor for help moving this out to the curb because I just could not take the smell anymore. And hell if I was going to waste any more time and effort trying to take apart this thing to try and send it back. Do NOT buy this product. It is a waste of time, money and your health.

First, when I was missing one of the drawer fasteners, I went to the manufacturers website and was gratified that they were set up to replace missing parts online. Because it is a Canadian company, it took over a week to arrive in the mail. Second, for the money, this is a very sturdy piece of furniture. Northing fancy, very utilitarian, but an excellent value for the money. The drawers are smooth. It needs the be anchored to the wall ( because it is not heavy) but the hardware is included.
