This string of lights is nice and long if you want to cover a large area or you can cut it shorter and the lights connected to the energy supply will still light up. Brightness could be higher, sometimes has wiring issues where not all bulbs show the same color. You almost have to be on top of the control box with the remote for them to turn on. And the adhesion does leave a residue behind. Best taken off with soap and water (from our floors) interested to see our strategy to taking them off of the walls. ... show more

These are really great lights. My basement office has an overhead light that's awful, so I got these to replace it and they couldn't be better. Set up was easy, even getting them to work with Alexa which is very nice. Admittedly, sometimes you'll ask Alexa to set the lights to a color and it's just wrong, but not a big factor for me. If there's any "complaint", it would be that the adhesive on the underside is no joke. Make sure you put these in the right place the first time, or it will rip off paint. ... show more

Love it, I don’t really have any issues with it. The only issue is very rare she want listen to you. Not so often, not so little. But it’s very rare when it happens. Everything is awesome, love how it actually does what I ask. I have her connected to my led light from daybetter. At first I didn’t know why Alexa wouldn’t connect to my led lights or why my led lights won’t match my music. You learn so much and how to use it lol. Figure everything out on my own it was a struggle but worth it! If you are using led lights from daybetter and can’t connect your led light to match with the music, you need to open the app of music so your led light music turns its mic on and once placed near Alexa so it can listen to the music it starts changing colors matching the beat. I ordered led lights from this brand around 2020 they used to have a feature where you could make it go faster or slower but now it seems removed wish they were brighter but there really good still lol.

I like the alexa capabilities. The leds work fine and easy to install. That being said there's not as many leds on the strip compared the other brands I mean as how far apart they are spaced. Furthermore compared others they aren't as bright. They don't light up a big area. EDIT: 05/12/23 as of last night the merchant reached out apologizing for my disappointment with the product. They offered a refund or replacement and sent me some of their other products. That being said I'm definitely going to try some of them. I'd recommend these guys for sure. If you guys have an issue with the product simply reach out to them. Changed review from 3 stars to 5. ... show more

Initially I accidentally ordered the set that didn't work with Alexa and as it turned out they ended up not working at all. I emailed the vendor and they processed a replacement order for me super quick. So great job there! Meanwhile though, I ordered 2 100' sets that DO work with Alexa and got all 3 sets in yesterday (including the replacement). I got the first Alexa enabled strand set up fairly easily. I love the atmosphere it creates in my living area. I will say that when I tell Alexa to change the colors they're not super accurate. I asked her to set them to orange and they were definitely green. Today I went to set up the second 100' strand in my bedroom and the lights won't come on at all. I tried it with a few outlets and nothing. Feeling frustrated that now 2 out 4 sets didn't work, I decided to try setting up the non-Alexa replacement I'd received (I wasn't sure if I would keep them or not having ordered the Alexa strands). Those wouldn't work either!! I'm sitting there thinking "There's no way that these lights have such great reviews and 3 out of 4 sets aren't working." So I took the Alexa lights to my living room to try and lo and behold, when I push on/off on the remote for the second strip, it's switching the first strip I installed on and off. Now I feel like I remember for the first set lighting up on it's own once I first plugged it in. So maybe these lights aren't actually working? But I'm feeling like the issue is actually that the remotes are all connecting to one set rather than the ones they came with. I don't plan to use the remotes, hence Alexa, but I can't find a way to pair them without the remote. ... show more
