These were easy to use, and a great way to get the first row of decking started perfectly. I used a tight string to get them all lined up and screwed them down. It took only a few minutes, and I had the 16' first board straight and aligned perfectly. Once you have the first board down right, it's smooth going from there. These are adequate but I wouldn't trust that the screws are truly stainless...not aware that they come in black finish like these. WOuld be OK for small project but def would not use where a lot of moisture is expected.

The edge brackets are essential to a clean edge while installing composite decking. They are very easy to use and fit right into the edge groove.
