Great colors and great value

Review Image by Jodi Savitch Jodi Savitch
I have ordered this rainbow pack three times now and I love the colors in this set. I started making friendship bracelets as something to do to relax after a long day of working from home during quarantine and I became completely addicted! This floss is soft and easy to use, does not fray (too much) and looks beautiful in the finished product. I'm now going to start trying to embroider with it on the face masks I've been sewing, looking forward to trying that out. The only negative thing I have to say is that the way the bundles come packaged they definitely have a tendency to get knotted up way too easily when pulling out the amount of thread needed and I do spend a lot of time untangling before I can cut a piece off to use but other than that this is great floss and I will continue to buy it when I run out again. ... show more

They’re really good quality. They get so many different colors. The texture is really nice. Good price for how many it came with. It doesn’t break easily. It’s really nice.

I have not used and washed yet for color durability.

The colors are lovely and the guide to colors has the dmc numbers on it. I have not used on a piece of clothing and washed it to test for running and durability. I will update if there is a problem. I purchased a winder for the bobbins and like my yarn winder, this makes life SOOO much easier for such cheap change. I also got a ring with bobbins for projects and a box to keep the bobbins in that I am not using. The whole thing is so much more portable. I have a zipper pouch that holds my larger frame, my needle case, bobbins with colors for my project and the project guide folded up. I spend alot of time waiting it seems and making up a kit for embroidery or other needle arts is how I get stuff done ... show more

Best quality & value!

Great quality cotton thread. Bought this for my teenage daughter's art/craft projects, & she's had a lot of fun using it to make different things. This thread is very strong & soft, not itchy like other brands we've tried in past. My daughter made me a thin braided bracelet & I wear it in the shower, it's been pulled & hanged on by a toddler numberless times & still holds it's shape, hasn't frayed, or broken. Honestly, I've been surprised how it's held up considering the unintended abuse it's taken. BEAUTIFUL variety of colors to choose from, possibility of color combinations are endless, one of things my daughter loved most about it (& that it was also soft against the skin). Excellent value for price. Package also came way earlier than expected delivery date, shipped directly from MiraGoods, not Amazon. Excellent product & service! ... show more

Working great, nice colors, no issues
Number of Items: 116
I'm a beginner at embroidery, and after doing a kit, I wanted to make my own designs so I decided to buy some thread. I didn't want to spend too much because I'm a beginner amateur. I was a little worried because some other reviews mention thread breaking or being horribly tangled, but I haven't had any issues! The product is as advertised, the thread isn't tangled, it's not breaking, it's working just fine. I did machine wash one of my projects, and no issues with the colors running. Came out of the wash and dryer just fine! It's a very generous amount of thread, so I think this will keep me busy for many, many projects to come! ... show more

Good selection and quantity of colors
Number of Items: 116
I'm only just starting cross stitch and it is very nice to have a good supply of embroidery floss to start with. It's also good that there's more than one bundle of each color, since I went through a little over one bundle of mauve floss for my first project since getting this floss. Next I just need to get a supply of aida so I can do more projects, and frames so I can actually display them. (I will get aida and frames in my own time and I know where to find them both, please do not recommend any to me) ... show more

Just okay

Bought this to make friendship bracelets. Decent embroidery floss for the price, but you get what you pay for. It frays easily and is noticeably thinner than the DMC floss at the fabric store. This makes enough of a difference making knots - they are smaller. Also, the dye on the thread is a bit uneven and splotchy. Overall good enough thread for a beginner such as myself who doesn't need high quality thread right away. I won't be purchasing again. ... show more
