Wow. This bed far exceeded my expectations! We've been looking at hospital beds for about a year, because we need the lower/raise function because I've started having back issues (caregiver to hubby). I've had 6-7 various beds in my cart, and decided to bite the bullet and get one. Found this Fuzren 5 Function model at the very last moment, and so glad I did!!! It raises about 5" higher than the other beds I looked at, sits up 80°, with legs up 45°. I was nervous buying such a big and important item online, but we received it within two days (thank you Amazon!) and the quality of this bed is excellent! Very sturdy, meets all our needs, and is wayyyy better than any of the hospital beds we've ever seen/used. The bed is exactly as pictured and described. It is made of steel, very well packaged, and pretty much "plug n play". The only items you need to assemble are the head board, foot board, rails, tray, and IV pole. These items are optional, and we didn't need or want them attached. The bed was delivered in a BIG box (pretty much length and width of bed) and about 2'H. The box said it's 200 lbs., and Amazon had two guys carry it into my garage. Unboxing was super easy. Everything was so carefully wrapped and secured, but not excessively where you need to fight with the packaging. I was impressed! Anyway, I laid out some of the packing material under one side of the bed, turned it up on its side, and dragged it into the house. It took A LOT of muscle, but I'm a Polynesian girl and built pretty strong lol 😉 Anyway, once in our bedroom, just put it on its wheels, plugged it in, threw my hubby's fancy air mattress on it (Prius True LAL Lateral Turning - excellent for bed sore prevention, automated pressure relief etc.) and we were done! This bed has a SUPER QUIET motor!!! The functions on it are awesome, and I can't say enough fantastic things about it! As a caregiver, this bed is a back-saver and so user-friendly! The wheels work great on carpet, and I love that they are central locking (i.e., has two click-down locks). This would be a 5 star review if the wheel locking system was easier to manage. Each wheel licks/unlocks individually with great difficulty. Other than that. We are totally pleased with this purchase since it has the reverse tilt, which is a must for repositioning to top of mattress without breaking your back. ALERT: Be aware that hospital beds for home use are not as wide as beds in the hospital. If width is a must, not just a preference, then pay close attention to measurements and be prepared for a considerably higher purchase price. ... show more

My mother in law is over 99 years old and spends about 95% of her time in bed. This bed is well made and works well. Having the ability to raise the bed to a comfortable height and lowering it so she can get in is a game changer. The bed is more comfortable than the ones in the hospital and although we aren't using them, it comes with a fluid holder. The motor is both quiet and operates smoothly. It comes mostly assembled and is heavy, so it's best to have it delivered to the place it's going to be used. I made the mistake of having it delivered to my home and had to remove it from the box to get it into my truck. There is no way it'll fit into a car. The bed is a quality item and I was surprised Amazon was able to have it delivered in 2 days. ... show more
