Features

  • 5 CLASSIC FUNCTIONS: These functions include elevation of the head, knees, and feet. The bed can also be lowered to 23 inches or elevated to 32 inches in height. With these functions, the patient can be positioned in Trendelenburg, reverse Trendelenburg, Fowlers, semi-Fowlers, high-Fowlers, and standard chair positions. There are angle degree displays for the head elevation and Trendelenburg movements for precise positioning of the patient.
  • LATERAL TILTING AND ROTATION: The EZ-Turn Bed offers innovative lateral tilting and rotation of up to 30 degrees, which will help with lateral recumbent positioning of the patient. This is especially helpful for preventing pressure ulcers (bed sores) for patients who are unable to move by themselves. Traditionally, caregivers must log-roll patients and use wedge pillows at regular intervals to prevent these ulcers. Now, these movements can assisted with the EZ-Turn Bed.
  • LCD Nursing Pad indicate user friendly control. Built-in Patient Control Panel at both Side Rails Front and Back side. Built-in Weight Scale.
  • LINAK ELECTRIC MOTOR ACTUATORS: The LINAK electric motor actuator and control system offers smooth and quiet movements. Controls are located on the side-rails and hand-held pendant. The LINAK system is developed in Denmark and is the leading brand for hospital beds in the world. Their intuitive design allows patients to move to comfortable positions, including the lateral recumbent position, with the press of a button. Our LINAK systems come with an integrated weighing system and display.
  • SIZE, WEIGHT LIMITS, and WARRANTY: There is a 550 lbs weight limit for safe operation of the bed. The sleeping surface is 78.7 x 35.4 inches. I like all the features of this bed. But it doesn’t go low enough. The nurses control says 59 cm. I have to stand up to feed my husband. The Hoyer Lift from the medical company doesn’t fit under the bed. The wheels are too large to go under the center of the bed. The bed is too high to get my husband lifted off of the bed. It took 3 of us struggling to get him out of bed and into the wheelchair using the Hoyer Lift. Same for getting him back into bed. We are exhausted! Is the bed defective that it won’t go lower then 59 cm? ... show more

Helps position. Relieve pressure and able to use to 'boost' person in bed with tremendelemberg. Should be able to have bed turn on either side and life head of bed slightly.

My sister needs a bed for an extended period. This bed is absolutely worth it. It does come mostly assembled (except for the head and foot board). It has so many practical uses that it makes being a care giver easier. The bed is very easy to move, the side to side turning is priceless for turning assistance and it is absolutely steady.
