This exam light is a joy to assemble and it only takes a minute, as all major assembly has already been done. The light has a handle that makes it really easy to adjust to focus of the light. The cord is rather long and allows the light to travel, instead of being fixed to one spot. The entire light fixture is of an extremely high quality and the wheels move with ease. I do like that I can dim the light to the appropriate working level and this is especially helpful when examining new specimens. This light works great for me and it is everything that I thought it would be. I am not obviously using it for surgery but I am getting a great use out of it in my crafting room. I do many different very intricate crafts where you need a ton of light and there is not nearly enough light in that room so I got this. It is super bright and lights up my workspace just like I need it to. I love how adjustable it is and you can use this just about anyway so it's super versatile. It matches up perfectly with the ad even down to the measurements and the wheels roll easily with no issue. It is very heavy duty and it does have some weight to it but it rolls easily. This is super handy to have and it doesn't take up a ton of space so you can put it in any office or room you would like. Great for tons of different jobs I'm sure maybe even a nail salon! Very well made super sturdy and does not topple over at all. Definitely a great value for your money in a solid 10 out of 10! This is nice examination light, very bright. Love that you can adjust the intensity of the light. Just beware of when you're assembling it. there's a small part that's in the box, that by the way was not in any directions, that's a very important piece. It's a small plastic piece that goes inside of the base, before you can stand the pole in the base. It holds it snugly. My husband couldn't believe that the pole didn't fit the base correctly so he wrapped the pole with duct tape over and over again to make the pole fit tighter. He totally missed this little part that was in the box. Takes a wife to find that he was missing a part, and found it in the bottom of the box! All good now I love the lamp! ... show more

Man! WoW! Yes, this light is amazing. Assembly is, wonderfully, simple. There is a separate power switch on the side of the lamp housing and an on-off function within the rotary dimmer switch dial on top of the lamp housing. This lamp has decent heft without being too heavy to move around. Also, two of the five casters have locking levers to hold the light in place. If you have hobbies that require you to be able to see things well, then this is for you. It’s one of those things you and your husband will argue over. It is great for directing light at arts and crafts projects, so you can see things without shadows, but it’s apparently also great for lighting up engines and working on stuff in the garage. I know it’s supposed to be a “medical” light, but it has way more uses than that. It’s easy to roll from place to place and some of the wheels can be locked to keep it in place. The light is on a bendable arm, so you can get the right position for whatever task you are doing. The on/off switch is on the light, so it’s easy to turn on/off. It also has a dimmer knob if you need it. This one earns a solid 5 stars from me and my husband. ... show more
