the day it was delivered , when opened the color and design was as in photos but the padding seemed to have accumulated at center due to the packaging. I could feel bulge at back when lying down on it. I left it out flat for few hours to gain its shape but after one day it was still not in good shape. It took 2 days for it to retain good form. Now it looks good. feels good. 5 star. not aesthetically good it you want to use right out of the box. you’ve to give it a days or two

I used to use different futon and I didn't like how thin it was. It was so hard to lay down on the side but this one, no problem!! I love the thickness and so soft the mattress are. I wish it was little bigger in the size but I'm happy with the purchase!!

Finally! A bed that’s just right. Most beds are too soft and the floor is too hard. So we purchased these Japanese mats and have had great sleep. The mat quality is very good. The mat itself is firm and the fabric is thick and tightly woven. We’re very happy with this purchase.

Not as thick as I imagined it to be but I put it on top of the first one I owned. If you’re looking for a bed to lay on often it might be best to find something a little thicker depending on your needs or getting two, either way it is comfortable and good for the price.
