I was looking for an efficient way to organize my kitchen and reduce food waste when I came across the VAKUEN 4-piece vacuum storage system. I decided to give it a try and overall have been really happy with the product after using it . The electric vacuum sealer was surprisingly easy to use right out of the box. It has intuitive buttons and I didn't even need to read the manual to start sealing food. It removes nearly all the air from storage bags and containers, keeping food fresher for longer. I waste less produce and leftovers now. The BPA-free plastic containers are durable and stack perfectly to maximize fridge organization. They also look sleek on the countertop during meal prep. Meat stored in the freezer and veggies in the fridge last noticeably longer before spoiling or getting freezer burn. And I love how compact bundles of food become after vacuuming the air out. This vacuum sealed storage container system is awesome! I like to use this for my strawberries and blueberries and they seem to last in the fridge for weeks and always fresh when I open them. You’ll save money by not having to throw out spoiled food. It’s really worth every penny! Vacuum seals the container in just a few seconds and easily charges on the base, very cool concept.

At first, this product was fantastic and worked exactly as it should and was perfect for what I needed it for. But, recently (last 45 days or so) they stopped sealing properly. I put the vacuum sealer onto the valve, and it never stops - never seals. I have five of them, and each is now like this. Very disappointed. I only use the largest containers (those are the five I am referring to), so I wonder if the smaller ones will do this also.

So much better at keeping food fresh than regular food containers. Even if you don’t use the vacuum thing on top to get all the air out, fruit and veggies last way longer than usual. I keep all my strawberries, blue berries and mushrooms in the containers. The vacuum device needs to be charged and I usually don’t bother with it. Seriously, strawberries last at least a week in these. So worth it.

I initially purchased the 5 starter kit, and have been happy with these containers ever since. They keep food fresh longer, and help to reduce food waste. I’ve especially noticed how they help to keep berries from getting moldy so quickly, which is one of the main reasons I decided to try these containers. Since the starter kit I’ve purchased additional size containers. Recently I noticed a very small tear on the inner removable gasket. It hasn’t affected the seal, but I was concerned that eventually it would. So I contacted the seller (Makervil) to ask if the lids and/or the gaskets were available to purchase separately. They responded very quickly and advised they aren’t available separately , but would make arrangements to send me replacement gaskets. Both the product and customer service are excellent, and I highly recommend these containers.
