  • bad quality assurance...
I received the torque wrench appears to be used... the torque wrench was set to 35 ft-lbs. I was very disappointed and quality assurance. I clean the torque wrench, and back off the setting back to 0. Afterward I check the torque wrench for accuracy and I believed from 20 ft*lbs to 35 ft*lbs or accurate but from the appoint on, the torque wrench seem to be low as set to 75 ft*lb against my other torque wrench In fact, from 40 ft*lbs it seem to click first against all my other torque wrench from snap-on to craftsman. I don't know if I want to keep this torque wrench, I believe the torque wrench is new, bad quality assurances, they didn't even unwind / return the torque wrench to 0 setting after testing. If they have bad quality assurance, they could have bad workmanship... SO MUCH FOR USA MADE TOOLS. If you must buy US made tools buy Snap-On, otherwise buy the best tool you could get for the money regardless of country of origin. ... show more

  • PRETTY GOOD DEAL...
Price was right, shipped fast, and was exactly the product that i wanted. the only down side was that the product looked like it was not brand new. dont get me wrong it came in a box, with warranty papers and description and specs, as you would expect, but the actual wrench had obviously been handled before. not a big deal because it was a tool, but just not as professional as i would have expected. the wrench itself actually looks like it would function exactly as it is supposed to. i will find out later this week as i have not had a chance to use it yet. i would have given a 5 out of 5 had it not been for the signs of handling. ... show more

  • Great classic 3/8" clicker torque wrench
A classic clicker torque wrench with a flex head. No issues with this 3/8" tool. The split-beam torque wrenches are nicer though if torquing in only one direction. I also have a digital Proto torque wrench - it is nice but a clicker is usually easier to use. I haven't problems with any of my Precision Instruments and similar Snap-On torque wrenches, although they don't get a ton of use. ... show more

8 months later after a dozen uses on VW wheel bolts (90 ft-lbs) the ratchet head broke.
