The printed instructions stated it is best to hand wash and line dry this rug, but I am so busy, I do not have the time to do that. I tried washing it on my washer's delicate setting and it came out perfectly lovely. I am line drying it now and it still feels soft and silky. My washing machine is a top loading machine and it does NOT have an agitator in the middle of the tub, that might tear this rug apart. I am so pleased that I am ordering two more right now, so I will have one for the end of the bed and one for either side. They are fluffy and very soft to the touch. ... show more
