My daughter is really enjoying using this. The only minor issue is that she broke a needle already. They make ones for clay beads that look to be thicker which sounds like it may be better suited for a beginner. Overall very happy with purchase!

The Bead Needle Hooks are clearly very cheap - the rest of the kit is great but the metal loop on the hook is very cheap steel thread - one came bent and unfixable, the other one it had fallen out completely, and when inserting it would come undone right away. The rest of the kit is great and good value actually - even with this issue, but absolutely buy higher quality bead needles than this comes with. We haven't tried it with the machine yet, but it works. Also you need a spare wall plug for the machine ... show more
