  • Work as Advertised; Solid Built
Size: PWS110-1
Everything's working as advertised, so far. Very nicely built, solid and handy. It has a pair of solar connectors for daisy chain connection. Comes with a set of various DC power adapters. Built-in USB ports is a bonus. It charges my iPhone and other devices. Tested it with my electronic meter, and it shows to provide power according to the brightness. I will bring this with me in my RV camper van. ... show more

  • No power cable
Size: PWS110-1
Well built and nice sized...BUT...there's no power cable. All that's included are the PV extension cable and adapters but no power cable for the adapters. At this price point, it should come with the darn $5 power cable. Why gyp buyers of that small amount? Also, the first gen HAD the power cable + 2 USB A ports and one C port. This second gen only has no power cable and just 1 USB-A and 1 USB-C. Why take away that 2nd much-needed USB-A port? * The PV extension is useful for those who want to buy another panel and daisy them together, which doubtless Powerwin hopes buyers will do. However, for those with one panel, the PV is not as useful as a *necessary* power cable. ... show more

  • Used for two weeks works great
Size: PWS110-1
Used this for charging my Ecoflow, worked fine. This will be a backup in case there isn't any power. I know our neighbor uses this on their property because they have no electric power setup yet. Works great for them.

  • Works great
Size: ‎20.86 x 13.97 x 2.36 inches
I hooked it up to my energizer power bank and without optimizing the angle to the sun was immediately charging 65watts. Very quickly charged my battery. Also very well built. The fabric is very thick and well sewn. I was impressed with the overall quality and performance. May buy another so I have one for each of my batteries. ... show more

  • Work well
Size: ‎20.86 x 13.97 x 2.36 inches
These work great, even getting some power on cloudy days. Maybe my only complaint is they are a little over priced.

  • Amazing partial shade compensation
Size: ‎20.86 x 13.97 x 2.36 inches
I have several portable 100W + solar panels and the PowerWin 100 W panel is a rather different one, in a good way. Most of the available solar panels are just a stiff backing with flat monocrystalline cells glued on. The Powerwin uses a shingled cell which works amazingly well at energy conversion for the same area as other panels. The shingle system also seems more durable to shock in my opinion. A main concern I have for a lot of the portable panels is how flimsy and flexible the backing is compared to how large and delicate the cells are. A shingle system should help reduce chances of cell damage across a large area. It also has rather good power modulation to compensate any voltage drops so it maintains a steady voltage even if there is partial shading across one or multiple panels. Starting from the top, the Powerwin 100W portable solar panel is a well constructed device designed for portability and durability. It has 4 sections, with heavy oxford fabric and a stiff backing to each panel section. There is a small leg behind each panel, which when extended keeps the panel at a roughly 30 degree angle relative to the ground. In full bright late afternoon sunlight, it generates a measured max of 20.8 V open circuit voltage and a max short circuit current of 4.9 A, roughly 100 W. When charging a device, the overall wattage would certainly be lower than the short circuit values so it is a tad below its rating. The power box is located in a zippered pouch behind the first panel, and it contains USB outputs for USB A and USB C as well as an array of DC jack adapters. There are no alternative plugs like Anderson, but most large power banks accept some kind of barrel jack input anyways. The key feature that stood out for the PowerWin is its shade compensating design and hardware. Usually, when one or more panels are partially covered, there is a drastic decrease in voltage and current, to the extent that covering 2 panels can render the output as 0 volts. The Powerwin takes partial and full shading in strides, providing a steady 20.3-20.8 V voltage as long as 1 or more panels are fully exposed to direct sunlight. When 1 panel is covered, it drops the amperage down to 3.69 SC A, regardless of which panel while the voltage stays at 20 V. When two panels are completely or half covered, it drops the current down to 2.5 A which is pretty good considering that's only 50% decrease in output while other panels would be basically at 10% output capacity or less. Every time a significant change in the shading occurs, the power output shuts off for a second or two to compensate the voltage. I found that out when my power banks watt meter turns to 0W and fluctuates every time I shadow a significant surface area of the panel. One thing the Powerwin solar panel does not handle well is complete shade. Normally, in a shady area with some sunlight, my other solar panels can still generate 19V but at a considerably low amperage. For the Powerwin, if all 4 panels are evenly shaded (but not covered), even under somewhat light conditions, the voltage drops to the 14.5 V-16.8V range rather easily. It generates just 0.25 A at 16.8V. Overall, the Powerwin 100W portable solar panel is one of the best portable solar panels I have tried. It is perfect for packing it small and durable enough for outdoor recreation. The shade compensation design is amazing in how it can generate steadier voltages while maintaining relatively high amperage even when partially shaded. 5 stars. ... show more
