Cannot use on when planers screws fit in screw holes but the head is too large sticks out to far from planer blade. They seem to be well made and durable not the companies fault they don’t fit. I seen in the description where they fit the wen jointer so figured they would fit the planers also but they do not. ... show more

These bolts do not work for the dw735. The head is different than the OEM bolts causing them to drag and leave gouges on whatever piece of lumber that you run through the planer. I tried once before to convert my planer to torx bolts but I had this very same issue. I thought since these were specifically marketed for the dw735, that this wouldn't be an issue. Apparently I was wrong. It's kinda hard to see through the camera, but here's a picture of what every piece of lumber ran through the planer will look like: ... show more

Did not ship screws shown in photo. Shipped different screw which has slightly thicker head which is leaving marks in the wood. See picture Original dewalt screw is on right replacement screw on left. The overall length of screw was not an issue, it is the actual screw head.

Use this size on various projects, and was finding it hard to come by locally. Note that it comes in a plastic bag, but I have divided storage containers for them. Also bought another size that I needed from same company. Both are nice screws.
