    • What's to say, Kreg Pocket-Hole jigs are top notch
So, I got this model to upgrade from the earlier Kreg Pocket-Hole jig that I have. I love that this one doesn't require me to keep setting it up depending on the thickness of my workpiece. I only have to set the collar on the drill bit to the right thickness of the wood and that is super easy with the sight hole on the collar and the etched measurements on the bit itself. Just place my workpiece in the jig and clamp it down...sets it's thickness automatically....way awesome. I also love how my drill bits and driver bits can be stored in the back of the jig at an easy to access area. I ALSO love how it has a dust collector attachment that actually works pretty good with my shop-vac hooked up to it. So, if you are still struggling with the single clamp on pocket hole or even the earlier model of this one with the 'adjust the thickness yourself' type of jig, go ahead and pull the trigger on upgrading to this model....you'll thank yourself in the long run. ... show more

    • It makes drilling pocket holes easy
I used this to drill about 320 pocket holes for a garden fencing project. It save me a ton of time and the vacuum attachment kept the worksite much cleaner than it would have been without it.

Carpenter for 45 years (mostly framing and finish, but new-ish to cabinet building in my “retirement”). So, surprisingly, I’m new to pocket holes. I’m about halfway thru a complete workshop remodel, and this seemed like a great opportunity to try something new, so I bought one of the simple “clamp it on” jigs. I loved the results, but I’ve got hundreds of pocket holes to drill, so the time each took was onerous. I thought I’d give the Kreg 720 Pro a try, and it’s been GREAT! Clamp it in, drill the holes, rinse, repeat, and Bob’s your uncle! Stacks of lumber quickly holed and ready for assembly in minutes! I’m slightly less excited about getting the Pro version. As noted in other reviews, the wings and material stop are flimsy. I haven’t yet used them (this is a 2x4 project, so no need yet), but when the need arises I’ll give ‘em a try and update here. Still, there is enough “extra” in the Pro version that I’m happy with the purchase. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ... show more

Very easy to use. The only thing I don't like is it is made of mostly plastic. Though I have drilled dozen's of pocket holes with it and is holding up quite well.

The product shipped earlier than promised and was in excellent order. Instructions on YouTube were easy to follow and my first project involved replacing a handrail and balusters on the front porch. Everything looked perfect. This is a professional product, great bang for the buck.

    • Best Kreg Pocket Hole Jig
This KREG tool pocket hole jig is the best thing EVER. It alleviates having to hold the pocket hole jig by hand. It locks it in place and has really simplified my beginner's woodworking skills. Great INVESTMENT!

    • Worth the upgrade
There are plenty of pocket hole jig options out there. I've purchased several over the years. From Kreg and other manufacturers. I should have just purchased this one. Makes quick work of anything 1-1/2" or narrower. Dust collection works great. Workpiece doesn't slide around and also doesn't get damaged from over-clamping. Just does what it's supposed to do, and the wings on the unit really help with stabilizing the whole thing. Even has bit / driver / allen wrench storage on the back of the unit, so there are even fewer excuses for misplacing them. You'll still want a basic jig for those occasions when your workpiece is thicker or you need to drill some holes while assembly is "in progress" (IE, you forgot, or miscalculated) since it's a fairly sizable unit. But Kreg sells those mini kits (one claimable drill bit guide, one bit, Allen wrench), which would be a good companion tool for your pocket hole joinery needs. If you see one on sale, snap it up, you won't be disappointed! ... show more

    • Great pocket whole jig. Saves time.
I’ve been using the cheap clamping Kreg jig for years and I finally upgraded. I was going to buy another brand that was metal and had a dust port, but I ended up going with this one and I could t be happier. It is so fast to use and nice to not have to change any setting in the tool when you change board sizes. You still have to adjust the drill bit, but that is quick. The dust collection is the biggest game changer. It doesn’t get all the dust, but it is so much cleaner! ... show more
