Plenty of power for cutting the lumber I used for a equipment shed (2x8, 2x6, 2x4, plywood, etc.). Not as noisy as my electric jig saw and a LOT more handy. The blade locks in place as it should.     • A good tool
The Milwaukee M18 FUEL D-HANDLE JIG SAW is a well conceived, well built tool. Comfortable to hold, it tracks well even when the blade is (easily!) set at a harsh angle. The light above the blade makes it easy to see where the blade is relative to the cutting line. Blade replacement is literally a snap — the best I have experience in many years of jigsaw use. I am confident that it will last as well as other Milwaukee tools I have used over many years. I have found that the dust collection feature does not work particularly well, even when connected to a vacuum system. This does not bother me as I use it outdoors most of the time, and even in my shop it does not make much of a mess. The tracking and ease of use makes it all worthwhile. ... show more
