It's not as precise as my original set,(which are 20+ years old), but I gently filed the end, and they are perfectly serviceable as a backup pair. I DO like the size. I have big hands, and a lot of other choices are too small.

    • Tweezers for grabbing lock pins
Because of the partial round indentation on both "grabbing surfaces, these tweezers are perfect for holding top & bottom pins. Although not a locksmith, I have rekeyed 15-20 locks (handle & deadbolt) and should have added these to my rekey supplies years ago.

I ordered this Lock Pin Tumbler Tweezer over the others because the picture showed the pin holder very close to the end and shaped to the contour of the pin. This would allow you to get into tight spaces with the pin while holding it securely. What I received was no different from others listed for half the price. The pin groove is not near the end as pictured and it is very shallow cut. Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad pair of tweezers, but it is not as pictured. You can order one of the cheaper ones and get the same thing. ... show more

    • Great grip on the pins when needed
This item provided a great grip on pins when changing locks for my in-laws. Made rekeying both houses to the same key almost effortless. Great product. Will recommend to all of my locksmith friends.
