Look this is one of the cheapest mowers on Amazon. I previously had the 144cc model for a year and a half and had many problems, the only reason I bought this brand again was price ( due to health, I will probably have to get a service soon so I didn’t want to invest money in a mower ). My previous mower had problems starting, the side Shute broke and came off, the back rubber flap ripped and fell off after 3 mows, the bag never seated correctly. I bought the same brand again and the back rubber flap has already come off and it doesn’t always start on the 1sr or 2nd pull. The service will cost me $40 a mow, so I figure if the mower lasts for 7 mows , it was worth it. ... show more

Review Updated! After posting this review, the Manufacturer contacted me via Amazon and asked for more information. I provided the background and a picture of the broken part. They responded quickly saying that they had put in an order to the shipping dept to get the part out. I was expecting it to take a week or so, but we received it very quickly and it is the correct part. So thank you to them for that. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Mower looks very nice, but when my husband went to put the two pieces of the handle together, the plastic knob to hold the pieces together, immediately split in two. My first contact with the manufacturer was positive. I sent in all the info required as well as the photo of the piece that broke. They assured me that they would send a replacement part out. Well , is has been over a month and no part, the last 2 emails to the manufacturer have gone unanswered. Very poor customer service. ... show more

I received my mower over 2 weeks ago. I have a couple of issues with it that could be resolved if only the could get in contact with the company. I have sent 3 emails. I have tried calling them on several occasions and was on hold for nearly 3 hours combined with all of my calls. I really don’t want to hassle with returning the mower, mainly because it’s big and heavy. Power smart has terrible customer service. ... show more
