Does lawnmower is a great lawnmower. It started up the very first time we used it. It cuts my grass to a perfection. I highly recommend this lawnmower. This is my lawn mowers first start of the season. I was showing my husband who was overseas right now.

Update: The lawnmower itself works just like it's supposed to. It attacked our over grown grass like a champ. I'm not upping the stars for the simple reason that Amazon's AI customer service by phone and chat are substandard. I haven't been able to use it just yet because it's missing a knob that supports the handle staying upright. I've tried to get ahold of Amazon Customer Service but it simply doesn't work for missing parts. Luckily I can run to the hardware store and buy an aftermarket replacement. I put a different bolt and nut on just to see if the mower works. ... show more

After very few uses (under six, and zero instances of mower abuse/weird obstacles/operator error), the blade completely detached during mowing and nearly chopped my foot off. The plastic gear box disintegrated and this is not only a huge safety issue, but an avoidable design defect incorporated to offer a cheap/inferior product. Few uses in, but with a ONE MONTH return window, I (a widow and mother of three) am SOL. Thing is, my property is my shop = my source of income. I can't mow until I buy a new mower, and business (as well as my reputation) suffers. ... show more

Unboxing was uncluttered. "Assembly" was intuitive, unfold the handle, tighten the bolds, snap on two little clamps that secure the starting cable. Fill the crankcase with the included 10-30 oil, fill with gas. Three pumps on the primer bulb. Two pulls on the starter rope - bang, started right up and ran smooth. Ran the front & back yards today. No hiccups. Ran in mulch mode with the grass catcher attached. Giving 5-stars 'cause I've got no reason not to. Appears to be a good buy! ... show more
