Update: After my bad review, the company reached out to me and send me a free replacement. This one is working great so I am changing my review score. I'm very happy with their support and the new unit! I would now recommend this product. Original Review: Worked great initially but just after the 30 day return period the pump suddenly dropped the output air pressure and was no longer usable with the air stones I have in my small pond. It was very quiet from the start but either I got a dud or these are not made very well. Also the air distribution adaptor is plastic garbage. It does not have any valves to block the air so you either need to use all the ports or find a way to block those you are not using. I do not recommend this product. ... show more

Quite, yes. Strong, yes. Reliably so so.. bought a few of these pumps now thinking they were great, but some how they fail days before or days after the return time. It's like it's just built it fail then.. Bought this last one 31 days ago, return time 30 days.. just my luck I guess. ☆After making this review I was contacted by the company, they offered a replacement and shipped it right away. Made it about 7 months before failure. No longer will produce air. Buyer beware, worked great for awhile but will look at other options now. We sent manufacturer a email to see if they can help past the 30 day warranty.

Nice quiet pump at a reasonable price $80 Normally I would buy Matala HK25LP at $130, that is rated at 25w 40lpm max, 25lpm at 2m(6'6") depth according to the data sheet, hence the "25". This pump is the same design, also 25w, but called a KP-40, which is suspect is the max flow. I found it to be 25lpm at 6ft depth. That matched my research expectations. 😀 ... show more
