As a professional hairstylist I was looking for something fast, lightweight and that wouldn’t cost me a weeks worth of work. This blowdryer is amazing! It gets very hot and I love how it has three heat settings plus the cold air option. This product has cut my drying time almost in half. If I had any complaints it would be that one- cord is a little short for a professional salon setting but with an extension I’ve made it work and two- it’s definitely not meant for a left handed person the way the buttons are positioned. Overall I would buy this again to use in my own home.

Edit: Customer service reached out to me after seeing my review and promptly sent a replacement. The email communication was friendly and very helpful, I was impressed with all communications. I am changing my rating to a 5 star because this hair dryer really is awesome- the quietness, power and light weight features can’t be beat. I loved this hair dryer for the first 3 months, it’s light and quiet. Unfortunately the dryer heating element no longer works. The ‘window’ for product support is no longer available. For that amount of money I would have expected a longer life from a blow dryer that is only used 4 days a week on short hair. Spend your money elsewhere.

So my hairdresser has one like this style, the professional version ($300). I wanted one but not at that price. I found this as a suitable cost effective version and WOW I’m impressed. I was using the old school raygun clunky version. Heavy, buttons in the wrong place and very loud. This one is lightweight, quieter and the difference in drying is crazy. My hair is dried not blown into oblivion. The attachments are magnetic, the back filter is magnetic as well. I have to use the diffuser, I have very curly hair, and this is just amazing. It keeps my curls coiled and doesn’t separate them giving me IT style hair. I was hesitant to spend the money but glad I did. I don’t dry my hair every day but this is just an amazing difference when I do have to dry it. Get one! I got the blue one. Very happy :)

My Shark hair dryer bit the dust after only a year of use. UGH. So expensive to buy/replace. I found this Quico dryer for a fraction of the cost and thought I'd give it a try. I love the weight, the many functions, the fact that I can put it on the cool setting without having to hold a button down, the ease of cleaning the dust cup, the magnetic attachments and the quiet motor (for a hair dryer). The only issue I had with it, is that I did sometimes change the fan speed or heat setting by accident because of where the buttons are located on the handle. I'm used to it now, and I rarely have this problem, but it's something to be aware of. I wouldn't go back to the Shark even if I got one for free. I love this powerful little Quico!

I was so excited when I bought this blow dryer. I’m a professional, hairstylist and blow dry at least 9 clients a day. I bought this blow dryer in February and last week while blowing out my clients hair it stopped blowing hot air. I tried cleaning everything, changed the plug outlet, thinking that my change things. Pretty much nothing worked. I had multiple clients by this blow dryer because I was so happy with it. Im very upset and cannot return. A blow dryer for a 100.00 should last longer than 3 months.
